Sounds fantastic in theory. However I think Bird looks smallish on the field compared to the opposition players; And he is 6kg heavier than Latu and battle hardened. Twal 14kg heavier.
Nice dream guys, but after getting hammered defending I think his attack would just evaporate.
Needs to be a 5/8 or centre IMO.

He only needs to play in short stretches, it gives us another dangerous ball player , it’s called playing outside the box ,

Only a few reasons why May not here rite now
1)We wanna create some space between Olams retirement and Mays hiring,and not link them...admirable,but were only an injury away from running Felody into our starting line up
2)He doesnt accept the behavioural clauses in his contract,which ritefully shld be onerous..can be managed .
3)Hes asking too much $$..was on $600k last year at Panthers. Probably worth the same next 2 years,but hes gotta get match fit this year and worth a little less pro rata.Lets not quibble over minor $$,which we have a truckload of to spend atm this year
He will be our best centre by daylite..and theyre not easy to find

I think we all believe May will be signed- far too many reasons for it to happen than not.

I quite like the idea of a NSW Cup contract transforming into an NRL one next season. But, I imagine it's straight into the Top 30.

What happens with Galvin, Latu & Bud Sullivan is the biggest question.

Surely May wouldn't have any different 'behavioural ' clauses in his contract to anyone else. He'll just have to meet the requirements of everyone else.

narh day release on game day, play in an ankle monitor and back in the hold after the game. Every penalty is an extra month locked up

Maybe the number of strikes he can have or the severity of action at a first strike.

Normally for behaviour it's an escalating process, so wouldn't be unrealistic he could start with something in place.

Thats exactly the issue I suspect and the Players Association may be less than happy with that because he "wasnt proven guilty"....
He shld be paid what hes worth...$600k was his salary at Panthers,which is similar to Olams..and thats what he shld get

Taylan May would be our best outside back by a long way. Class player and a powerhouse. Ultimately we need Makasini to come through and Skelton, Douihei back.

I watched some of his past games on Saturday. I think some people forget how good he actually was/is.
Would be more than valuable (on the field.)
