Unfortunately I can't agree on these 3.I think individually there are some players who are performing better - Bula, To'a and Twal for example. This hasnt translated to an improved attack or defence though. The structures, discipline and decision making is still poor and no better than previous years.
Maybe just a higher tolerance FWF, but a FWF nonetheless. To be fair I’d say it’s almost impossible to be a fair weather fan as a Tigers supporter. We’ve been shit for so long any fair weather fan would have stopped supporting us over a decade ago.
He's fricking inbred...You say that after calling Galvin a white trash ghetto kid.
You would sell your soul for 260 million dont lieHave to quote myself. With this guy
New world order? What a dick. Sold his soul. The song aintt bad. I cypher your paid piper. Where are you now.? Once in a life time. Agree with you there Just not selling my soul.
That’s been raised so may times. Just our kicking in general, no use of the wind in the first half last night, I think one attempted 40/20. Are these guys brain dead or is our new leader annd/or coaching brains trust, unable to take control. Basics boys, basics, for fxxx’s sake.We have the most boring kicking game in the comp. End over end shit that doesn't challenge the fullback
Yeah it’s not this year that breaks people it’s the past 15 seasons of crap.Maybe just a higher tolerance FWF, but a FWF nonetheless.
"To be fair", we've had a pretty good season thus far considering the last 3 years we've had to endure, so if this is what breaks you, then it seems a bit of an overreaction to me. Souths didn't eat us alive and we never gave up to the point where we should have won that game if it wasn't for Galvin.
I understand some disappointment after a tough loss and no hard feelings if people want to walk. Just don’t expect applause on the way out.
Not sure where the idea of being butthurt came from. Definitely not the case on my end.Yeah it’s not this year that breaks people it’s the past 15 seasons of crap.
I think my comment was pretty balanced so I don’t understand why you’re so butthurt over it.
No one was asking for applause btw so maybe you shouldn’t dream things up?
Think you are referring to me. Not sure why you believed I was "shocked" or "looking for applause". My frustration is in the time and money spent supporting the team which continues to tread-water (in my opinion). There are plenty here who do not go to games, do not pay for membership and do not even watch all the games. I do not see them as lesser or fair-weather fans. Not sure where the idea of being butthurt came from. Definitely not the case on my end.
My comment was more about fans who loudly declare they are done with the club, then seem shocked when others do not beg them to stay. When people react with a simple “alright, see ya,” it is not about cutting them down. It is just acknowledging their choice.
What exactly are we meant to say? “Please don’t go, we desperately need you?” Or are we supposed to applaud them for walking away when the club is finally showing improvement after three tough years? Personally, I just say “all good, no hard feelings.”
If someone has stuck around for 15 years and still wants out now when there is genuine progress, you start to wonder. What more can the team realistically do to make them happy 11 games after a 3rd successive spoon? Don't you think with a new team, these losses are part of the journey? The Dogs didn't get it right in their first season rebuild either. Why are we held to a different standard?
Also, just for context, if you read the full exchange this came from, you will see my response was not aimed at you directly. It is part of a broader back-and-forth across a few posters. I am challenging the ideas being thrown around, not attacking anyone personally.
Yes, elsewhere I have stated that we finish bottom 4 on around 22 points which should keep us way from the spoon. (probably finish around 12th - 14th)Unfortunately seems like the first 5-6 games were an aberration. We are back to the team who's won 3 spoons in a row
If you flick through our draw, we will find it very tough to win more than 2-3 more games for the rest of the year if we don't somehow improve
Actually was directed at bigsiro to be perfectly clear. He was the one saying I was cutting you down to feel better. Had nothing to do with cutting you down. No issues with anyone personally....this has really gone on for too long anyway. I've said my piece.Think you are referring to me.
The live-game post is probably not the most rational of places, I see it as a place for fans to vent and show some emotion. Now the dust has settled I can see that I see the club's progress (or lack of) differently to others.
Hank I think your becoming more negative than Tucker if that's possibleYes, elsewhere I have stated that we finish bottom 4 on around 22 points which should keep us way from the spoon. (probably finish around 12th - 14th)
This means we need 3 more wins and unless something changes and we make an improvement those 3 wins are looking hard to find with our remaining draw.
Hope I'm wrong and we can turn things around.
Dally M votes: Keaon Koloamatangi 6, Api Koroisau 4, Latrell Mitchell 1, Terrell May 1.
Leaderboard after Round 11
30 points Luke Metcalf (Warriors)
29 points Will Kennedy (Sharks)
27 points Terrell May (Wests Tigers)
24 points James Tedesco (Roosters)
23 points Payne Haas (Broncos)
Funny what people see as different. I actually think Mitchell probably had his best game this year in a Souths jersey. There wasn’t the highlight plays or the huge stats line but he did everything for his team to ensure Souths won that game. How can you dispute that? How on earth did Mitchell get a point? No wonder the Dally M is a popularity award for Murdoch's journalists and nothing else.
They gave him the same Dally M points as they gave Terrell who incidently managed:Mitchell's stats. 0 try assists. 0 line breaks. 4 tackle breaks. 1 offload. 7 tackles with 1 miss and 2 airswings. 114 running metres half of which was kick returns. Cleaned up maybe three short kicks. Fairly underwhelming.
Latrell only has to stand up to get points he's the favourite. They gave him the same Dally M points as they gave Terrell who incidently managed:
0 try assists, 1 line break, 6 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 63 tackles with 1 ineffective @ 98.44%, and 199 running meters.
Most of his tackles were try saving. His positioning at fullback was perfect and he made a number of good runs. Oh and his team won so that helps. How on earth did Mitchell get a point? No wonder the Dally M is a popularity award for Murdoch's journalists and nothing else.
Maybe they mixed the two up. At one point one of the Fox dickheads called out Lattrelll May. Last night was the worst and most biased commentary I have ever seen. Constantly cutting to Mitchell standing around in back play.Ennis needs a cold spoon. They gave him the same Dally M points as they gave Terrell who incidently managed:
0 try assists, 1 line break, 6 tackle breaks, 3 offloads, 63 tackles with 1 ineffective @ 98.44%, and 199 running meters.
