The whole "Melbourne play Friday, Brisbane vs Penrith Sunday". FORGET IT!


I just can't believe we would arrange a grand final in this way. Melbourne will be fresh and Brisbane will be limping. Happy to see that game in a more normal contest, but like this...

I thought the same thing during Fridays game.
Melb get the 48 hours to recover, watch and work a game plan, before Madge gets his boys in the sheds for the team song. Bellend would have been training that plan into his team first thing Monday morning. While the donks are still waking up.
Melb have had the red carpet ride from the NRL since they started, but donks can’t complain they had it for 10 years prior. Hopefully the NRL will find a new pet-team to support, like Perth. I wonder if they can claim new Perth underwear on their tax returns.

This season promised so much but it's delivered about the most boring and predictable GF possible (aside from Storm/Penrith). The two clubs that the NRL has always favoured and fostered are - surprise, surprise - at the top of the comp while grand old Sydney clubs collect in the bottom half of the table.

Most seasons the GF is predictable. Not sure what’s so different about this year.

Almost everyone I know it's either NRL or AFL. Rarely both.
