Apparently a lot of people within WT are happy Richo is leaving.

I think Chammas actually gives a good balanced view of it all.

It wouldn't be hard to believe, Richo would be someone who wouldn't muck around, plenty of people would struggle in an uncompromising straight shooting environment. He is exactly what we needed.

I actually *liked* the post so that while trawling through literally 100's of posts I could find where I was up to, when I got home from work at 9.00pm ... geez, people take things to heart.

MY team is WESTS TIGERS. I don't want to hear magpies or Balmain. I don't want commentators calling them Magpies or Balmain, but by the same token, I won't get my knickers in a twist when they are called Wests or Tigers.

A lot of you also forget that while we are 'moderators', we are fans first. We don't do this for anything other than to keep the forum running. We are allowed to hold opinions and thoughts. We are not required to be neutral in how we follow the team, but in how we implement the rules of the forum. I'm *this* close to signing out of here, and walking away from all of this garbage and letting you all have at it!

I know it is a thankless job, but please know there are many, many people who do appreciate you very much.

I said it when Richo came here that I found him too brash, too definitive with his comments. He started criticizing the previous admin as soon as he arrives. Chammas called out his hypocrisy with certain things.

This dictatorship type behaviour would have put a lot of people offside. However, why did HBG get rid of the board members and not Richo if that's who they had a problem with?

I can see it too but you want that in a CEO, someone with passion and to say it the way it is.

As an example, what about the time he got right up the players that were watching the game where we were copping a flogging and they we laughing and carrying on, something that was not appropriate under those circumstances and Richo let them know in uncertain fashion.

That was an example of dealing with his own people, pretty sure that he carried that through to all his other dealings with people, imagine how he would be reacting to adversaries that were getting in the way of what he was trying to achieve, so it's not hard to see that he would have quite easily gotten offside with many people, that's what happens when you call a spade a spade, have passion, high standards and a vision.

As far as HBG getting rid of the independents, I would have thought that was their way of getting Richo to walk. Pretty common knowledge that he was adamant about only staying while he had an independent board and the HBG's smoke screen about having full support for Richo were complete lies and their way of getting Richo to walk knowing full well that he meant what he said and that there no chance of him staying around and being a HBG puppet.

Probably said the same about the petition that installed Richo. He’s paid for his opinions, they can be wrong.

If you were a bit cynical you could also ask who is paying for his opinions.

How can you even suggest for any reason HBG are the glue, the F place is falling to pieces, Temu product.

I don't have a problem in some instances with doing things the old way and sticking with traditions but we've made some major improvement and advances since we sent horses off to the glue factory.

I guess we could say that there are much better adhesives and ways of stopping things from falling to pieces these days, but then I think you could also say the same sort of thing about the debenture system.

It's only going to become more insulting as the next few weeks roll around while what ever is going to happen ends up being worked out behind the scenes, wait till they start putting the players and Benji in front of the cameras to calm us down, the media has picked up on the club refusing membership refunds. HBG will use the players and Benji to try and smooth things over with us from the anger and chaos they're garbage has caused.
