Broncos want to be the “away” team though … they would prefer that to the money …whether $350k is “good money” I think is debatable…what do they make out of that LO game on Thursday ?

The NRL should just make it fair …one year you are the home team …the next the away team … all the clubs should just be treated the same ..

Its one of the options clubs have to request their preferences before the draw is done....i dont know how many each club gets

I guess …I don’t know what things they might be requesting otherwise … I doubt it’s getting the Week 1 bye 2 out of 3 years 😂.., the draw hasn’t been great IMO .. three home games in a row .. then 4 “away “ games in a row I believe ( including our Magic Round game )

Wests Tigers Podcast mentioning briefly a rumour that Papenhauzen interested In coming back ? Anyone heard anything more from their mate at the pub or who works at the Bulldogs ?

It was not a rumour about tigers .
Just papi quoted in recent Podcast saying he open to return to NRL.

luai's contract have clauses to up his $$$ in 28/29

the tv deal is 27 and beyond, he would be silly to sign elsewhere before that deal and the cap is worked out for 28

i think he stays but we will end up paying $$$ which was to be expected with his clauses

they have structured this extremely well (luais camp)

The whole thing about him retiring was weird.
He was either all in on R360, or Bellamy told him he won't be starting fullback this year.
It could be a combination of the both but he was always going to come back.

You say first year we play the donkeys it's our home game, next game it's theirs??

From memory when I look up past history, it's usualy just that home/away alternate every game.

Yes its our choice.
Broncs are usually away...they dont need $$$$
We.get good.money to be home team...weve been.pretty succesful in magic round strangely enough recently despite being crap in general

Yes that’s true …until last year …they want to play 12 games at Brookvale … we should be looking to maximise home field advantage too….

Last year the NRL gave them the bye ..probably a punishment ,,, this year they are the away team to us
