Our best play kickers at the club are Doueihi and Madden and with our game at the moment about winning territory, we kind of need someone who can give the ball a proper thump, which Latu and Luai cannot

If Luai was out not Doueihi I reckon Latu plays

JFC toa being picked is a slap on the face to fans that bought into standards and a new culture .. he doesn’t even try to make tackles . Tanks it and is rewarded with a recall .. latu is supposedly the future of the club and cannot get a run .. mason is a half and should be a half on reserve grade if we are serious about development.. all year I was on board but seeing toa picked again after his disgraceful cat efforts this year just make every word I have heard mean Nothing.. it’s all just lip service .. I Cannot believe Benji will pick a player that has played as poorly and a woth as little commitment as toa this year.. it’s a disgrace

The only reason i can see him there is to cover if Bula or Mak go down. If everyone stays fit throughout the game there is no way he gets a run.

Exactly. If Benji sees Latu as a future long term half, he should be working with him now. By not giving him game time in the halves hes stifling Latu's game. Better for Latu to be in reserves and get 80min a game in his preferred position.

The one advantage we have is both Burton and Galvin are not very accurate when it comes to their kicking game. Burton can put up as screamer however little accuracy.

Seriously, some of the selections are baffling. Roberts not even in the 19? Tavana back in when he clearly is not ready for NRL! Laulilii dropped for Tavana - you're joking aren't you Benji? And, finally, to cap it all off, Toa, the cat of all cats is back in. Yes, it's great to have Api, Bula and Twal back but the team could have been so much better. What about the new standards? If they were being maintained, Toa wouldn't get rewarded for his piss weak efforts. Why not Javon Andrews with Latu as back up hooker or lock?

There’s been a reshuffle to the starting backline as several players return to action.

Recently re-signed fullback, Jahream Bula has been named after missing the sides past two matches with a left shoulder injury.

Sunia Turuva moves into centre following injury to Taylan May (shoulder) and a suspension to Patrick Herbert. Jeral Skelton comes into the starting side from the interchange bench, with Tino Tavana returning from the NSW Cup.

Heamasi Makasini also returns at centre after recovering from a left foot injury.

Api Koroisau and Alex Twal return to the starting side, after missing through suspension and injury respectively.

I think the halves combo is our best. People rubishing it, interesting. I dont see Latu and Luai a great pairing. Doohie and Latu could work a bit better. We really need AD and Luai of course, but this is our best with who we have IMo

I was not suggesting Mason as a FB but he has more versatility as a player and he now can catch high ball if on the wing.Neither can tackle.

Can I just say thank the lord Bula and Korisau are back.

• Getting out of our own end has been hard work without Api guiding us. His deception helps get us on the front foot as our forwards get over the advantage line more often.
• Tristan Hope killed so many good-ball sets.
• Our ruck/marker defence has been so bad. Api leads that.
• The defensive organisation has been lacking.
• Our back three have been killed by the high ball since Bula got injured.

Ideally these areas are cleaned up and we go back to being competitive as of this week.
