I haven't read any of the previous comments. I'm sure none of them are positive and neither should they be. I turned off at 36 nil. In the space of one week, we have returned back to the bad old days of complete ineptness. There's no way, even with the various outs, that we should be capitulating like this. What a gutless, lazy and absolutely pathetic first half effort. Penrith are very good but not 36 nil good. We handed them the game on a platter. I feel embarrassed to be a Wests Tigers supporter. 5 out of 7 to start the season - what a false dawn that was.

The gulf between penrith and the rest of the comp is enormous. All we l had to do was start well and Pole and Murray drop absolute sitters (Pole’s slightly harder but he caught it then lost it again 🤦🏻‍♂️) seriously, how hard is it to just complete some sets at the start of a game and not give away six agains, at least for 10 mins at the start of a game.

If we had beater depth Maka wouldn’t be out there or at least on the wing. The guys confidence is shot.

The handling has been below reserve grade.

The referees can determine the outcome of a game in the first 20 minutes... and we have seen exhibit a here today.

Only need to look at manly vs souths and the decisions in those games. Its blatantly obvious to anyone willing to look close enoufh.

I think given our depth we have over achieved this year to this point . In all honesty I think Luai leaving is a godsend as even without the PNG news he hasn’t been the saviour or mentor the team needed. Although all I can see is we are one step forward and two steps back.

Also Penrith are able to make every play the ball by us Slow with the 3rd guy in the tackle .This is one of the secrets of their success and apparently is all ok with the refs .Other teams in contention ( not us ) take note !!
