Origin Selection, who has potential so far?

Just because you play as a team doesn't mean you should have lots of players there, otherwise Penrith would alway have half a team. Only May & Api for me to be considered. I would have Api behind Brailey as well if I am being honest. Twal playing well, but there are a few forwards in front of...

    Patrick Herbert #306

Good game today. More importantly, he is a natural centre. He runs lines and tries to set up his man, which is far more than Maka, Turuva, Skelton or any other option we have. Without any other real options, he should stay in the team unless Toa forces him out.

    Im not convinced

Absolutely, but I think more so, we have no centres, so the cohesion is naturally horrible as centre is so specialist. You saw the difference in Makasini in the trials when May could open up the field for him and give him space. Someone like Tavana I think will shine if we can see him in space...

    Im not convinced

Maybe we are on par or better with the forwards but our outside backs are on struggle street. They are trying, but absolutely no flow or cohesion there at all. We are not "walking over" or "doing it easy" against anyone.

    Jahream Bula #269

This is my issue with it all though. We generally have to pay above market for external players. We all know that. So say we deem Bula at 600k and we pay 800k or whatever, would it be any different if we went elsewhere. Say we targeted a 600k fullback from another club, we would probably...

    The Luai dilemma...

Luai straight back in. Our attack is still struggling in my opinion. We are great off 2nd phase play due to offloads, but we are regularly camped in the opposition 20m zone for 3-4 sets in a row and not even firing a shot at the moment. Truthfully, the game should have been put to bed with...

    Jock Madden #244

I agree that some people are getting carried away (god love them). He is doing a great job as a back up half and doing some good things. Some of the areas he is doing well in are much better than what we have had (EG - short kicking), but his passing is really slow and the distribution from...

    Tino Tavana #305

Well said. Luke makes 5 errors a game but his hit ups and carries are actually very very valuable.

    Jock Madden #244

My honest assessment which some people won't like. Strengths - Effort - Goalkicking - Short kicking game - Organisation Areas of improvement - Passing/service is very slow and not crisp at all - Long kicking game really struggles

LIVE GAME Round 5 versus Eels

Honestly we are the least threatening team attack wise close to the line. Everything about our play is so slow. The service, the lines (lack of), starting with the ball on the flat foot. Am I the only one who sees this? Not trying to be negative but we look like a team who has never trained...

Horrible from Laulili. Our CTW/WING combos is why we are not favourites in this one.

LIVE GAME Round 5 versus Eels

Maybe. But Melbourne and Penrith don't start their sets so flat footed and at 50% pace. Outside of all the improvements I don't know why this can be the case.

LIVE GAME Round 5 versus Eels

Our attack inside opposition 20m is so pedestrian. Always looks so flat and slow.

LIVE game discussion. Tigers Team Vs Penrith - Trial#2

I see big concerns with the pack if that is what we are rolling out with only Terrell May out.

RIP Wests Tigers Super fan - Kingy

Vale to the King. I could be wrong, but around 99/2000 I am sure he appeared on Today Tonight/Current Affair about his fanaticism with the Tigers. Sitting in his home with Tigers Posters/Memorabilia everywhere. He is also interviewed here around the 3 minute mark: Any old highlights in the...
