I think everyone thinks the boss is the boss, but everyone has a boss. CEO’s have boards, CFOs have CEOs. Sometimes they are just delivering the message.
They just need to go. I’ve had enough. Feel for the actual club, but I’m contemplating not watching if it turns into a circus of players...
Unfortunately being a CEO of an organisation that needs rapid change, with a board that puts up roadblocks is a shocking situation to be in.
I personally think Richo is gone unless the NRL can step in, or they get another buyer. I actually think there’s a chance of that now, western Sydney is...
Will be interesting to see if the new board members are independent. If they are, then I guess there’s less of a problem.
Can’t see that happening though.
What in the actual F? If Lee Hag is Paul Bearer, then he must be The Undertaker.
Might be time to get Anthony Wiggle to come in and buy the club with his Hot Potato money.
Lee Hag could have passed for a bad 1930's gangster-type wrestler, or even Paul Bearer!
Maybe it's why the Tigers had that strange sponsorship from the Australian Wrestling Association.
Completely agree with you.
I think the problem is that sometimes decision-makers aren't rational. It plays out in public more-so when it's a sports team.
The rationale is completely insane, but there's no other explanation apart from a scenario where Richo/board have done something really...
Could be. I think they are just cutting Richo's legs from underneath him. What the end goal is? Who knows? It's definitely not in the best interest of the club, it's members and/or fans.
Pretty disappointing really. Going to have to start supporting the Balmain Bowls Club.
Can't really know, but I am thinking they don't want progress under the Wests Tigers banner. This is the first year in 10 years that they recorded a profit without cash from HBG. Richo was open about wanting to run with financial independence from HBG, and maybe they were starting to see their...
I actually think this may lead to the owners going. Western Sydney is too important for the NRL, and I cant see any other motivation other than deliberate sabotage.
PVL said he'd step in, and I think this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
