Very tough and fast game. Melbourne are just a machine. They’re amazing, and without Pap and Hughes. Munster is on another level. And such a pleasure to see Bulldogs lose.

They might be NRL class, which is an improvement, but there’s not enough consistency out of the backline to make them top 8 worthy IMO.

Our 5th tackle options were bad, but this was obviously a tactic. One that didn’t work. Api was not his usual. But both our tries were effectively set up by Luai. He was the only one that looked likely to penetrate. Just a shame we don’t have better foils for him.
