Suggestions around that this apparent $500k which we're chipping in is split between this season's cap (i.e. $300k) & next season's cap which is where the $200k came from. If we had spare cap space for this season, it is smart cap management by the club to front-load $300k of the $500k.

Noted that Kit Laulilii is named on both the NRL bench & NSW Cup this week. Usually players on the 6-man NRL bench aren't named in Cup. Me thinks Api is likely to come into the squad & Kit drops out.
