Fairly sure if I tried to implement any of those in any other corporate environment then I would be sacked and probably arrested. Not sure that in 2024 getting naked and being slapped on the butt by my colleagues is legitimate. I get sport is a somewhat different environment but its 2024. The...
A few times on here I have seen critcism of Toa based on his defence and missing tackles. The problem is the facts don't back that up. He had an effective tackle % of 84% last year - Much better then Olam or Naden (last yr or this yr) also better then the likes of Bradman Best and Kotoni Staggs...
Happy with Turuva but think that's it for backs in next year's top 30.
We have
Bula/ Laulii
Naden/ Toa
Staines
Olam/ Feledy
Turuva / Sakuru
So mayby 1 more winger but would suggest we will leave 1 spot free if we don't sign a back mid season this yr who stays on or Faatape, Lobb or Alaimalo...
I watched the 2nd half of the semi last week and obviously Isdale and Maksini stood out but I really liked number 15 off the bench Siotame Havea Jnr. He just had something and from what I can understand he would still have 2 years left after this yr to play Harrold Matt's.
I actually think that may be the attraction - if you have a couple of young blokes coming through like Willett, Laulii, Saukuru who might be a couple of years away from full-time nrl then an older winger who won't block the pathway is probably the right signing
Ken Maumalo is looking for a new club after not getting a chance at the Titans
Although personally I'd prefer Aaron Schoupp who seems to have dropped down the pecking order at Titans but has been in brilliant form for Ipswich Jets - avergaing 195m running in the centres and 3 tries and 23...
Cotric us absolutely a meter eater and would be coming much cheaper then Turuva.
Not sure if he will get back to his Origin and test form but he is young enough.
