I think it more as a blending of these two.

Got these put together just to see if the designs translated to real life. Not perfect with the sleeve sponsor on the home, though I do somewhat like how it was done, and the side of the away is not exactly how I envisaged it, but still works.

What fans were frustrated? The main frustration was we didn't wear it enough. The home was very well received, sold out multiple times, says that it was quite popular.

Why?

Well the white was a quicker mock up, and not a fully I 100% want it as the alternate. But whatever it is, it needs to be white.

No matter the ground split the club still has too many divisions, the jersey is one of them. People who can't take a fully black one as it is too Wests, or a fully black one is too Balmain. An even split of colours removes that, so does a design that is not too close to a Wests or Balmain strip...

My current view of the club is that we need to get away from the whole dominant single colour for jerseys, and have a unified brand. So no more Orange and Black predominant individual jerseys that would be seen as a Campbelltown and Leichhardt design. Thus why a even split for the home in a...

I do believe that that was the reasoning back then @ShaunMielekamp black was the common colour so was used as the majority colour in the designs.
