Woeful isn't it - you could possibly understand getting 1 player wrong - but getting 2 players wrong and from different clubs takes incompetence to another level.
NRL contracts are a joke. Is there any other sport in the world where you can be contracted to one team until 2029 and then also sign two contracts at two different clubs at the same time.
probably wont even be looked at by auditor - they have turned a blind eye to other signings below market value in the past. not being a high profile player they will just let it go.
the other question is how much do they carry on their cap for the next 2 seasons. if the NRL want to persist with the salary cap they really need to tighten the rules and make it more transparent. The Will Kennedy signing is also just another example of what a farce the cap is.
