Talking and actually putting a deal on the table are 2 different things - of course in the talks they would be saying whats on offer. This is what was originally reported in the media

The NRL would become even more of a joke if they allow this to happen - this has escalated from WT allowing TDS to "talk " to other clubs to now clubs offering 3 year deals 18 months in advance.

I agree. I would have TDS on the bench but after last week i don't think TDS is in any of Benji's plans going forward. Mason is a good 14 in an open game where his running comes to the fore. In a tough defensive game its a total waste having him on the bench.
