While I think that is correct at HBG level I don't think is has to be at WT level. They could choose to appoint a number of board members that are selected from within the HBG membership based on the skills that they hold. Of course they can do the exact opposite as well so only time will tell...

Not really wanting to wade into the debate - but fact from BOF at the members meeting with the CEO - there is only one reason he is back at WT - PVL. He did not elaborate any further but you can deduce from this that it wasn't HBG that got BOF back on board - extrapolate that out as you see fit.

As a corollary to that: those who never look back are destined to make the same mistakes. There needs to ba a balanced approach with a focus on the future but guided by our past. We shouldn't dump the foundation clubs - but embrace the heritage through the name and colour scheme of Wests Tigers...

I was a Penrith junior and we had free tickets for every season just for playing. Not sure if that happened at Wests but it was great for us - played our game and caught the traing to Penrith Park for the game and then back home afterwards. Does that happen now?

If AD is to be a 13 he should have been training there all off season. Different body type; different fitness level etc. This is a professional team not a pub side running out after a glass of port and raw oyster as a warm up.
