anyone explain to me why contracts exist in the NRL when they can be broken at literally any moment?

Agreed, his only been worth half at the most of his salary, I hope he turns it around but if he only lasts 2 years at the tigers I wouldn't be mad about it.

So Galvin is acting like a brat and trying to get out of his contract no matter what so he can earn more money and F over the tigers. Yer entitled kid hey, no empathy for him now, I hope the tigers don't release him this year, let him stay in reserve grade for the rest of year no matter what...

FYI, dropping Galvin was solely Benj's decision, and he could be back in the team sometime this year. The rumour that the players told Benji to drop Galvin is false, as confirmed by a source inside the Tigers.

At least he told us now, gives us time to plan, looks like Luai/Latu halves and in 2027 bud will be the backup half. Galvin is not a million dollar player also, so kind of glad he knocked back our record contract since we would have overplayed. Latu is our future and that's ok

Does anyone know what happened to Staines? All I know is Latu is the only one out from our top 30 as Naden is returning to NSW Cup this week.
