Being at the Tigers though, noone will fault Benji for it. They'll blame the owners and rightfully so. Two of the last 3 coaches we have lost or sacked have won the last 5 comps.
In context though, he did the quickest roster turnaround we've ever seen, came in the first offseason and tapped guys and brought in others. Were judging him after 2 years of salary cap management, where the first was dealing with the past admins contracts. He brought in players on better deals...
Great points, though Bellamy runs that club, once he goes there isn't any other coach you could replace him with. It'll take about 5 years imo, after 5 years of life post Bellamy, Melbourne will be mid table at best.
Yes, because evidently what happened was so bad they attempted to reinstate the board members they gave the flick to 10 days later. It was an obvious takeover by those at HBG who never wanted the Wests Tigers to be independant.
