Seems WT cannot cop a break from the injury gods. We certainly have not been helped, even the injuries seem more longer term mostly than a little niggle and off for a week or so.
I know we have used sprint coaching in the past (I think Bula was the last one). Just querying logic- why isnt sprint coaching used on all our backs and maybe even back rowers?
I think there is talent there but sure needs some defensive work. Get him on the training paddock and make him work at defense, and do it time and time again. We know he can attack but his defense needs to come up to NRL standard. He has a future with us if he wants it.
AD is the big question and I dont think we will get answer to to whether he wants to stay and play somewhere else in team until end of season. Im more thinking he will leave and go elsewhere, he just doesnt fit into our plans for the halves and he has already demonstrated an unwillingness to try...
Couldnt script it could you? This injury proneness must cast doubt on his future on anything but a minimum value contract immaterial of his brother's desire.
Damn the debenture hold on the Wests Ashfield and resulting WT & HBG. Really wish the gaming and licensing could have found something on them to cause the debenture system t be gone.
Thanks. Interesting, then who are the other 3? Crazy if it's Magpies, Tigers and that Central Coast soccer club. Surely thise 3 are delegated down the chain to minor CEO 's.
Weird. I'd have thought as different minor entities Magpies and Balmain district clubs would have their own CEO's and report separately to HBG. Shaun would/ should be CEO for HBG and WT.
I would suggest Rd 8 is his time to have shown change and get results. The last half of this season has been diabolical and coach and staff have too much failure in this result. New support staff (not yes men), a tactician, and new attitude.
In the end result, if Benji remains pig headed with the support team around him and team selections, he is making the club act against him. Next year will be the decider. This year has shown our continual lack of structure, tactics and general footy iq. This has to be fixed. If not Benji...
