Dragons doing well to be in it but are playing dumb. Bulldogs went dirty & wanted the game to go slower because they were losing the advantages. Dragons fell for the bait.
Geez the Bulldogs attack looks terrible.
I get the above and it makes alot of sense.
The issue with what you state is other clubs have separation between the owners and board more often than not, HBG doesn’t. As such they’re all in and need to cop the wins and losses accordingly but as owners need to show what is and isn’t acceptable...
Nah you’re on point. He is fit, a good runner and great talker. He can play structured but he isn’t an unstructured instinctive player.
The other thing that happened when he moved to fullback was lost all confidence in catching bombs which is a big concern.
I’ve always been a big fan of his...
If Maka sets the world on fire we would be bonkers not to sort out a Maccas cash cow with him. Could be huge. The kid is very cool & will win people over.
Well I guess we were alot more successful, after all we did win multiple spoons so our kitchen is stacked and we managed to get our team on cheaper & longer holidays every year.
How are you judging on form?
Who else is infront of him with a 6 man bench?
These days you need 4-5 props.
Hunt, Bunty, Pole, May & Sione should cover rotation - Sione can cover prop and backrow.
Hunt or Bunty is a like for like swap so we should avoid having them on at the same time swap...
Have zero issues with concerns with Toa, I have them as well. The replacement names some are mentioning aren’t any better than him - they are all fringe 1st graders for a reason with similar issues.
I don’t get what people say sometimes on here. Some complain about a current player by insinuating they’re more suitable to being a cup/2nd string fill in but want to replace them with basically the exact same level of player. Thats not how we upgrade our squad or starting team.
Agree. More the point most squads have a few roster spots on year deals - it’s smart roster management. If Geyer has a break out year that would be a big win for us & something most didn’t bank on. Would also be a confidence boost to our recruitment activities.
Also depends on his body. He is out more than in and becoming a player we can’t rely on.
If everyone was 100% fit I would have him on the right wing and give Turuva center if Toa gets injured again.
