Yes. I thought the deal was agreed to at the end of 2016 at the point that he signed with Souths. Anyway it seems we have done the wrong thing and copped a massive and seemingly punitive penalty.

Great signing. The contract dollars seem to suggest we paid far less than elite money for a halfback. If he goes to the next level, whatever that is, we will have him at a steal.

Why can't it be true that Brooks and Farah haven't learnt how to play together? Why can't it be true that Brooks played better this year without Farah in the team? Does anyone have any stats to show one way or another?

I didn't mention Farah's mum, so hopefully that was not directed at me. I think you need to be careful in assigning causation from correlation. Mbye came at the same time. It will be hard to disentangle the Farah effect. Further why can't it be possible that Farah's inclusion improved the team...

I just don't understand why there is so much focus on Farah in a Brooks thread.
