Both books were purchased from a Melbourne bookshop which maintains a store as well as an online presence. That is remarkable and typical of the excellent culture in Melbourne. Purchase price was also excellent considering their rarity.
Good post. Doueihi and Bula are perhaps our only two backs that can go the length of the field. Our first game against the Warriors highlighted how important this is to a team.
Betterday22, I don't understand why the signing of a very talented junior impacts the prospect of another very talented junior. It is not as though our club is overrun with very talented juniors. We need to adopt the big picture view just like the Roosters and even the Knights.
Let's hope...
I like and agree with that sentiment but unless more resources are poured into pathways, recruitment, identification, development and recruitment officers, we'll be a shadow of what we could be as a club with a huge junior district.
The enormity of rehabilitation of this type of injury cannot be underestimated. Cleary has achieved just about every accolade in RL. He needs to think about his future post football.
You can almost imagine the discussion between the player and his specialist touching on his quality of life moving forward post football. At what 28 years of age and with hopefully an excellent portfolio of investments, a good bank balance and perhaps a pay out, medical retirement must surely...
Fletcher Sharpe is the player I'd want from the Knights. He can play multiple backline positions, is evasive has genuine pace and height. He's going to be a fine player.
Best has had one of the best games I have watched him play. He looks like pushing through on the left every time he is given the ball. His defence has been good as well.
