Saw him play a couple of matches without knowing anything about him and he instantly became my favourite 20s player. Very hard hitter in defense which isn't too common a trait in that competition. The fact he's a very young bloke fills me with confidence that he'll play plenty of first grade...
Agreed
We've been way too structured in attack. I'm all for defensive structures but I like the attack to very much play what they see in what you would call a loose structure. So you have some set plays and ideas on how to use your strengths but you play what's in front of you.
Too many attacks...

We take our medicine knowing our salary cap mess for 2016\. I like Gentle as a coach. He knows the club with all its ugliness and issues and has had success in the lower grades. We play a style that suits our squad and look to win and develop the talent we have. Farah has a year to see if he can...
Great thread. It's a massive issue for next season.
Richards & Galloway gone. Lawrence reportedly being shoped around with Farah being pushed out. Halatau I believe is staying. No experienced players coming in.
Let's say Halatau and Lawrence stay and Farah goes or at least isn't picked. They'll...
I'm yet to see where Cherrington has won the contact in a tackle he is the first player in. Teams run at him and go straight through him. It's why he is playing the back end of halves when in first grade. His defense is of more concern then Brooks and Moses. He isn't ready defensively and we...
It's risky in clubs which have high turnover of management and no clear direction. New changes of management means different directions.
I think we've overpaid a couple of purchases and second tier type players. We haven't had a lot of luck but we haven't deserved it either.

This is a big call. But it's not the size of the call that is the issue. It's the lack of respect for Farah to find another club and us a ready made replacement.
Cherrington isn't ready for constant first grade. Farah hasn't been great this year but the other options aren't anywhere near good...
Cherrington looks good with the ball but I worry about his size. He's been run over a few too many times this year to be confident he can do the job next year.

A change of scenery will do him well. An unfortunate array of injuries have ruined his confidence and what was a promising first grade career.

Karwhin was quite impressive. Scored a couple of tries, made some great reads and hits in defense and helped his forwards out of his goal line.
In consecutive plays he made a try saving tackle, pressured the kicker and then got back behind the play the ball to take the hit up after the fullback...
Let's not release a player considering we're already paying players to pay at rival clubs. Let's get our cap in order and pay what we use.
