I tend to think he was forced out. Bulldogs kept Hasler on, but he has had to shed a few of his close assistants as part of the restructuring over there. Hopefully a win for us. Different roles though - assistant coach to GM
Thanks, I just found it strange that he was in reggies whilst McInness was in firsts. I rate Cook above McInness so thought Cook might be on the outer for some reason.
Another game for city next year, then who knows, but unlikely unless injury crisis to the blues.
He wouldn't let anyone down though and does have the game to suit origin. His best attribute by far is his runs out of our end.
Patience doesn't mean much on this forum. There have been plenty that had given up way to early on especially Moses, Brooks and Noffa.
I think the decision to drop Sironen has its merit, but can't see how Edwards and Lovett get a start over him.
I'm not convinced in Kevvy's defence, but his...
Dont know anything about this bloke, but at 25 years and bugger all first grade it doesn't fill me with much confidence.
Still not sure if or why we haven't targeted Damian Cook.
With Robbie most likely going to the Rabbits, it would make sense that some deal could be done as he's been...
What happened to Damien Cook, i thought he went alright for the Bulldogs. Maybe the Tigers and Souths can come to some arrangement and we take Cook for Farah. Surely he's a better option at no cost than Mortimer.
I think the teams cohesion in attack in recent weeks has less to do with Robbie not playing and more to do with Elijah Taylor joining our squad. You can also throw in the return of Tedesco from his injury layoff.
Still can't understand how he thinks Robbie has such a detrimental effect on the...
I'm still giggling. That hit the funny spot for me - the watch. Would love to see that one day.
Very good Gary, thanks for the laugh.
I've got nothing….. maybe draw a fitbit as everyone seems to be wearing them these days.
Yeah there is a big push for Ipswich, but Toowoomba's airport is a big advantage and I think Ipswich is still too close to compete with the Broncos for sponsors and supporters. But yeah Ipswich is a far more likely scenario for some reason.
I've never seen him play, but the hype is there.
How has he been going? Did he get a couple of games in Intrust Super Cup a few weeks back?
Whats the go with him at wing in the NYC and Sharpe at fullback.
Anyone think he could step up to First Grade next year on the wing.
I thought we were starting to have some depth this year, but I now think we need
another front rower
another second rower
at least 1 centre
and a winger
and depending on what Farah and Cherrington do, possibly another hooker.
Relocation of a Sydney team to Toowoomba was my main point. Existing supported base with the addition of new supporters. More opportunities for sponsors and TPA's and recruitment.
I take your point though it doesn't compare to Perth, NZ or PNG. I just don't see any Sydney team relocating that...
Farah's last year of Origin. He deserves to play all 3 games. But I would definitely be interchanging him. Walker was a wasted bench spot anyway. We need a utility/2nd rower that can fill in at hooker for 15 minutes either side of half time. I wouldn't have two specialist hookers. Someone like...
I think the travel costs and toll on players to and from Perth will always be the negative aspect of any NRL team in Perth and ultimately keep them from being a top 6 club.
I'm all for Toowoomba. Nothing to do with me living near Toowoomba . But seriously, I think it would work for an...
