He will be getting paid $900k on the option …not bad money for a final year farewell to the club that gave him his opportunity

Tavana is the first drop winger now behind Makasini and Turuva in my opinion … I liked Skelton last year …but he was ordinary against Souths and last week in my view …not up to NRL standard on those efforts …he has played about 25 NRL games so not a ton of experience I don’t know enough about...

Galvin had to force his way out … He had to accuse Benji of basically coaching malpractice …and stand up in front of the whole playing group and tell them why he wanted out .. I don’t see Bula doing stuff like that to get out a year early ,,

I’m sure the plan would be to keep him here another year over say Sloane for example …much better player .. Benji will think they can win the premiership next season …he won’t be weakening the team if he can avoid it

Skelton is gone i think … he is behind Tavana now as depth in my view ..so he will have limited opportunities in the NRL side the rest of the season to get out of the doghouse …

What’s Marshall want to do at the end of the day regarding the option ? You think he will pick it up …give himself another year to replace Bula …

You can make a case for anything at the end of the day… That doesn’t look like a premiership winning backline either to me they will probably both be there still in 2027 whilst Bula plays out his option here

I heard he was asked flat out if he is going to Melbourne, and he responded that he wants to stay here… doesn’t mean much at the end of the day though ..
