How is he an “attack coach”? He replaced David Kidwell at parramatta as an assistant coach. Kidwell was the defence coach and has been nothing but a defence coach in rugby union after leaving parramatta. Fair assumption is that he took over that portfolio. During Carrs time as assistant Parra...

Could not agree more. Only 21 years old and has played 20 first grade games while being asked to fill critical roles at fullback, half and lock (bit of bench hooker as well I think). He has had some really poor moments, but he has also had some really encouraging ones. He has absolutely stood...

They would have to give you a jersey if that’s the strategy. The club could sign prime Andrew Johns and you would still find a way to complain.

I hope the Bula injury is genuinely restricting him. Otherwise, it is the fastest decline in player quality I have ever seen post signing a contract. He hasn't broken the line, created an overlap, supported a midfield offload or made an effective defensive play in weeks. Most concerningly he...

Just a fantastic accurate representation of the current state of the club. Brilliant post.

Bula, Terrell and Turuva have literally fallen off a cliff the second they signed their extensions. Luai and Doueihi are barley NRL standard. Makasini is years away from first grade level. Koroisau with the most brainless shoulder charge of all time. I like to be positive but this one hurts...

Makasini is barely a reserve grader and needs to actually earn his place in first grade. Let alone long term extensions.

Why shouldn't Javon have been named? We have had the most putrid attack in the NRL, only 22 points in the last 4 rounds total. An amazing 5.5 points per game. Doueihi acting like he is prime Andrew Johns getting asked to play hooker. Doueihi had the most touches of the ball last week for 0...

You are not a fan. You are a contrarian who thinks generating against majority opinions makes you enlightened. Go support your second team that you were crowing about last night and leave those who want the club to succeed to discuss it. The only thing illegal about what Latu did was not using...

Surprised by this sentiment. I think Averillo has all the talent in the world. Gives us the key thing our back line is lacking which is genuine speed and a constant try scoring threat. Only 25, great try scoring record. Has already had a handful of games in which he was the dominate player. I...

Seyfarth and Starford are the two that I cannot get a read on. Both are players that have frustrated me so much that I’ve never wanted to see them in the jersey again. Today, I thought both of them were excellent, particularly with the physical sides of their game. Need to get a sports...

I was at Suncorp yesterday what stood out to me was that we were completely outclassed physically. Our players were unable to poke their head through the line aside from 2 or 3 sets right at the end of each half. Manly’s back three constantly won contact and found their front on kick returns...

I am not trying to put a young player down. I have been really impressed by Tavana this season. But this is the worst performance I have ever seen by a winger. I think it is a mental resilience problem, has spiralled from the very fist dropped ball.

Can you guys just get each others number and have it out already? This is the signing and suggestions thread, it is so tiresome logging in and reading you two having a lovers tiff for 5 pages. We get it you disagree and you are both super clever. Please give the the forum a rest from your egos.

I agree with the sentiments of many on here that it does diminish the value of a lot of the “my team” rhetoric that Luai had been stating since he got here. It is a little disappointing that the playing group may not quite be as close as advertised. However, from a purely team list perspective...
