While the NRL has always been uneven, V'Landy ball has resulted in bigger and more common blowouts. The mooted change to the kick off rule may restore some balance by helping teams claw back momentum.

While both Liles and Stevanovic showed promise in Jersey Flegg, neither is KOE standard. Hopefully we don't see them again this season, they belong in Ron Massey.
