This is our issue. On what we have now next years bench would be Latu Fainu/AD, Pole, Seyfarth, Sukkar. Personally I’d like to see us target a starting prop and have both Sione and Pole come off the bench. Both Seyfarth and Sukkar who do a decent job need to be upgraded.

No signings should and will happen until they extend both May brothers. Both well deserved of long term deals. Bird and Hunt being shopped with Bud to South’s means we have 4 spots to fill if it all happens. We need depth at prop, lock, utility/hooker and an outside back.

Pole is young he’s a beast. When he realises what he can do he will dominate. Has the talent it’s experience and mentality.

Hunt is a 20-30 minute damaging prop. Can you risk that the game goes against you possession wise when you bring on. In the modern game I think he’s done. And I’m a fan.

We are building performance away from home, bad calls and against the minor premiers is sound. If this team started the season add KPP and hopefully a few others we are improving.

Good summary agree with you. KPP and two more bonafide starters and we have a team that makes the finals. We have a way to go. Usually we have 1-2 youngsters some good every season it’s setup for Makasini next year.
