As I recall they were pretty keen on Tommy Talau too. If you watched Toa’s game against the Cows when we scored 66 points you’d have offered him a million a year. He looked like Reg and Mark Gasmier combined. Sadly that’s not his usual output.

Junior Tupou was okay with us. He’s been at two other clubs with pretty hot backlines.

To be fair that wasn’t the case on Sunday and it’s been largely injuries that have caused this situation.

He’s a very good NRL standard player with plenty of pace. He’s a great signing. I’m baffled why anyone would be against this to be honest.

Their backline is stacked. It’s an incredible list.

I haven’t watched the tv replay but i thought we put in a decent shift against a good team. They scored a lot of tries from our errors and we just didn’t convert some of our half chances. Another game where we compete 95% of the time but basic defending and handling errors. Our right edge...
