Brooks looked very ineffective in the final trial. Tommy Turbo has looked patchy the last couple of seasons and Simpkin is essentially the same guy who wasn’t quite up to it here. There’s a lot of pressure on Fogarty or they’ll be hoping their kids step up.

Just a trial I know but their depth doesn’t look as mind blowing as it has previously.

I reckon next year I’ll just back all the outsiders in trials. They’re crapshoots anyway.

That damn head gear though - I thought he’d dropped it!

Not getting over excited but plenty to like. Team is still on a heavy training schedule. Even NRL v NRL there was a lot to like. Panthers were up for it. Plenty to work on but it’s easily the best team we’ve had for some time.
