That pass to the touchie...missing everyone else by meters...probably his defining moment.

He is a step or two behind the pace for NRL.

When we are really on top, he can exist.

But when he has to do things in opp 20, he just can't react quickly enough.

Having watched him a lot in state cup, he struggles v the best teams down there also.

But looks very good v the bottom state cup teams. Perhaps that is his level.

The fact the Knights have not even attempted to get him (their halves are atrocious / he is a local) shows that no one else really rates him also.
 
What I dont understand is that there have been teams in prior years that were wooden spooners but very few capitulated over successive series of games especially at the back end of the season and often tried to end the season on a high. There was rarely a game this year when i was confident we would come away with an assured win. This was the most disappointing thing I took out of this years team. No Jersey pride in the club or for the fans

I’d say dropping that kick against the Titans that lost us the game. Talk about your clutch player.

Yes, I think the whole we need Madden thing has been put to bed. Maybe in a couple of years but not right now.
Isn’t it funny how you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone ie Brooks.
Now I’ve been as critical as anyone else but maybe those 200 games plus a little revised coaching might just be part of our solution.
I think he’ll have one more season to come good, otherwise it’s down in value or see you later.

I think any 23 contracted players need a pre season ASAP.

They play like they don't know each other and cannot grasp the basics.

Hard pre season + all their heads to be shaved.

With respect Hal it is the coach's press conference. I think for Sheens to takeover would be disrespectful in my opinion.

I think Madge threw him a lifeline hoping he might do something for WT but it never eventuated.
Maybe a bit like Grub at the Dogs could turn out to be. Tricky one for CC cuz former Dogs fan favourite but can’t see him anything other than about 18-19th man.
Heads willing but body weak.
 
I never watched the game today but did Tamou enjoy his last game …….. 🤔

For mine, we always held the Bulldogs in our first game with them and the Broncos at bay long enough that I was very confident we’d win. I was also very confident we’d beat Warriors in our first game with them, the depleted Penrith team, and Knights in our second game with them….so what would I know I guess?
