From what I have seen this year Hastings is a clear leader. He handles the spotlight very well both on and off the field, and he has a good sense for the game.
There's definitely a skill in how you speak to the ref over the course of a game, and he has it.

Joffa has been a solid loyal servant, if you choose Hastings then Doogie might get upset and vice versa and by seniority brooksy should get it and all that, nofo has claims, so you pick a popular friendly type that doesn’t offend anyone and everyone is happy as it becomes more team orientated.

That’s what I would do.

And Joffa would let the guys express themselves when they need to.

We pretty much got rid of the high handed stand over pyramid tactics from management at work and performance etc went through the roof.

Api is Happy and Doogie is Groovy

But Joffa is the ultimate candidate.

Everyone loves him and will try hard to please him.

See Kevvie cut his brother from the brains trust up there.

In the meantime, the alleged family nepotism at the eels seems to have helped them reach gf.

The NRL is such a twisted weirdo sport.

I reckon Hastings and Koroisau could work. Both are smart and know how to win games. And I’d be leaning towards Hastings as captain because of his experience and I think it fits better to his game.

Whoever it is it’s gonna be a huge challenge. They’re gonna have to be tough as nuts because it’s gonna be a battle from round 1.

After this season, none in the current squad have proven themselves. Api’s gonna be top dog in the forwards, for sure. Hope everything goes right for us with Pappalii. Jacko should play 7 and then who knows how it shakes out in the backline. Bunch of very ordinary players with baggage to choose from for 1 through 6.

If they had any brains at all,look at the squad and you can see there is only 2/3 likely candidates to pick a capt and vc from...

Joffa
Api/Donut...Api a seasoned NRL player and Douhi is still a bit young...

We dont need 1/2 the team as a leadership group...we need someone to step up and show true leadership,not an experiment...this is PROFESSIONAL rugby league,not teenagers learning the game...
