I too was a bit concerned with the relationship, however it looks like he disclosed it to the the board prior to accepting the role. If there were "inflated" payments, favorable terms etc... than that is something that would be untenable and lead to his sacking no questions asked.

I honestly have no beef with HBG running and owning the WT, what I do take issue with is the dysfunctional HBG board. If they get rid of the debenture system and adopt the same model as other clubs where there is more accountability to members than I'm happy.

Some of my views would appear to buck the echo chamber nature of the forum - but hey, that’s an issue for the trigger-tots to deal with. I’m comfortable either way (hence why I keep coming back with my 20 cents worth).

I have been criticised by one or two on here for not opening up enough with my views. Being guarded or too diplomatic. And of course when I do candidly offer my thoughts I’m criticised by one or two more. Such is life 🤷‍♂️

You’ll have to elaborate on these claims. The embarrassment is obviously something for you to deal with and it would seem to be way too hot for sleds (although Santa seems to cope).

I was referring to a possible reaction he may have and how if numbers are up then there's nothing for PVL to get involved in.

Nah it’s from an employee . My guess is someone in the marketing department who got overlooked for a job for Richos son . Is it perfectly timed with this … maybe ! Maybe it’s the nrl saying your golden boy Richo isn’t so golden and not worth our time .. I dunno . There’s no such thing as coincidences though . That’s one thing I know .

It'll be hard to determine what "inflated" looks like.

If we paid rich digital 30% more than we could have paid with company X, it isn't grounds for dismissal.. because heaper doesn't always mean better..

If rich digital were 1000% more expensive for the same service, then yeah Richo should be worried. But I highly doubt its anywhere near a number like that

At the end of the day, it's a reactive accusation from HBG after being told that the NSW liquor and gaming would investigate them..

They are scum..

I'm going to have to find a way to make this protest next weekend..
