Political pressure can force change, especially when councils and governments are putting money into infrastructure that may go to waste if fans walk away and leaves the stadiums empty or the centres of excellence or other connections that the politicians want to have for positive promotion of their actions.

And PVL loves the political connections, if they turn on the NRL, or start questioning its lack of action, then it may also force change.

Plus possibly just more powerful voices to add to the support.

Eh...I hear you, I'm cynical.
 
Told you so this would how it would pan out , it’s not surprising .

NRL won’t step in , the clubs not broke , no illegalities or fraud occurring .

L&G won’t step in as the issue is with the nrl club , all they care about is the leagues club operations

Tbh any publicity is good publicity. The Tigers bring a lot of eyes to the game even if it’s usually negative
