John Hopoate holds the record for the most suspensions in Australian rugby league history, accumulating a massive 45 weeks of suspension over his 13-season first-grade career.
While many players have faced judiciary issues, Hopoate's multiple, high-profile bans remain notorious to this day.
Others on this "list" include Josh McGuire (42 weeks), Luke O'Donnell and Craig Smith (32 weeks each), and Greg Bird (31 weeks).
