Dragons re-brand

I don't remember hearing the club was 'fractured'.

That must be what happens if the club struggles- must be at board level!

Dragons are awful because they have the absolute worst spine combination in the NRL since Brandon Wakeham was a starting #7.

There is no single area on the field that club can look to & say "that's where we win this game" because they are inferior pretty much across the park.

Worse still- there's not exactly a production line of promising players coming through to filter in.

This is a LONG rebuild, or a very aggressive rebuild before the Dragons are decent again.

Fractured board or not.

65 million? Looks like $65 bucks what a ugly Centre they've built
Our Centre of excellence looks heaps better than theirs
Anyways looks like they're in for the long haul
Most predicted that they'll get the spoon this year we should just give it to em now
they are dra GONERS
😁

You have to give the devil his due. Pascoe did not shank the COE. Even Richo said it's as good as any facility in the Southern Hemisphere.

They've gone down the same path we did from 2017-2023 and ended up in the same place.

Signing mercantile coaches, being the last stop saloon for middling former rep stars, and not being brave enough to give youth a chance.

Flanagan is awful. He won his premiership on the back of bad boys signings and Tim Sheens's hall of fame brain farts letting Heino and Fifita go. James Maloney has come out and said he drove the tactics in 2016 and learned nothing off him.

I'm glad our club reached a point where they understood they needed to try something different and Richo eventually came along to support and protect the process.

The Dragons lower grade and junior teams are very strong. The club has to work harder at retaining its best such as Jesse Colquhoun and Jack Bostock.

Flanagan is a very approachable man, and he often says hell to my parents in Wollongong. Lately he hasn't been which is indicative of the pressure he is under.

Illawarra, Penrith and WTs will pay the price for the expansion of the NRL through loss of juniors.

Rebrand won’t help them they are the new basket case club , we have moved away, or up 1 notch above them , and we will keep moving up as the season plays out , make the finals and there will be multiple clubs in the media taking our place as punching bags , and on rebranding , calling us just Tigers would most certainly cause great friction, heart attacks and board sacking , the club could not handle it as it would absolutely fall to pieces , only way it would Possibly happen would be if we were sold out to a consortium and they went for marketing of the club and it said this would be best , so,relax it won’t happen to us

Yeah paws, it would be naive to think if you have a massive junior base teams that don't have or aren't established yet are going to have talent scouts lurking in the shadows eyeing of good talent coming through.

Can only hope we can keep the players we want and let go ones we don't need which luckily has been happening lately.

If we can keep on improving that will help with players wanting to stay but every now and again, we will lose a player that stings, it's the nature of the beast.

Sheens letting fifita go was so dumb, one of the worst recruitment decisions ever
