Honeyfield website amnd the "Striped Roar Crew".. is it an Ai generated content or scams?

I've noticed lately a lot of random content popping up on the tigers in my FB feed. The stories are often wierd, seem exclusinve becasue I've not seen or heard the stories anywhere else. I've listed 2 examples below that I got today...Has anyone else noticed this? Your thoughts?

1. This one shows a photo that at first glance is almost believable but look closer... I'm 99% sure its Ai generated. Look at WT logo on the fan jesey and cap... not legit. Same as the broncos caps. In my opinion its all BS.

There are many other example that I won't list here. Some are very personal stiories about players and their families. If it's click bait, it's terrible. If I am wrong I apologie but the stories all seem sus.

All above seem to be posted by a FB group called the "Striped Roar Crew" fan page that publish their address in Wisconsin, USA,
Really seems like trash to me. Some of the very personal stories there border on defamatory. Am I wrong?

All fake news from the land of the fake USA, they are just one of a few currently on Fakebook, 'The Roaring Pack' is another group all from the US spewing out gutter fake news collecting cash for clicks.

Hi mate. thanks for that. I thought as much. Bloody garbage spewed from the land of FaceBook. Makes me wonder, if all the fake crap was removed from facebook, if there would be anything left. Seems like a lot of tigers fans believe the hype, because there are always comments to the posts... unless those comments are fake too.

People can be naive, particularly if they don't comprehend that more than 50% of content on social media is fake, it has increased dramatically since AI has become more available to the masses, however AI makes a lot of errors and in many cases can be spotted.

There was one that came across my feed today from one of these groups from the US, obviously produced by AI and being from the US it quoted our CEO talking about of the Wests Tigers and college football, AI doesn't understand that 'college football' isn't a thing in Australia like it is in the US.

The ultimate aim of these groups on Fakebook is if they have professional mode turned on they earn money from clicks, it's easy money and the more dramatic the 'news' story the more clicks they receive the more money they make, same way scammers operate only need a very small proportion to believe and they'll get plenty of clicks.

Delve into group information on Fakebook and it tells you were they are located, with some you can check the 'Transparency and Privacy policy' section of the group page and you can see where the site is administered, 90% are in the US, Vietnam or Indonesia.

Yes thanks to all the replies. I pretty much figured it's all dribble and click bait that generates traffic and a heealthy money stream. Problem is some people will believe this dribble. Not good.

Social Media as we know it is dead. One of the reasons I like this forum is that it feels like social media 5-10 years ago.

I've developed forums of my own as far back as 2005.

They were really the start of social media on the Internet.
 
I long for the days when usenet was a thing.. It was great at facilitating online communities based on shared interests, similar to social media, using text-based newsgroups.
FYI - it pioneered social concepts such as "flaming," "trolls," and "spam, back when it started, in the late 70's...

Sigh!
 
I never click on these links.

My team and I create malware and use links to deliver these payloads. Very risky.

Secondly This Ai generated garbage designed to cater for dopamine addicted folks who spend hours and hours scrolling.

Id recommended staying away. Not gonna learn anything.
