well then pvl should playNorths don't play trial games there due to the cricket pitch. It's a stupid idea, PVL will most likely do it though

I reckon he will. Afterall, there's a lack of NRL games in Sydney that needs to be addressed.well then pvl should play

Lucky to get 10k attendancewell then pvl should play
perth bears v manly at Allianz
I think they'd get a big crowd next year but would drop of after that. Perth will have 5 -6 away games in Sydney every year, if there is bears fans out there then that should be enoughLucky to get 10k attendance
And of course the home game every year at North Sydney oval v Manly will be a sellout.so if they were called the perth pirates fans would go see them ?
c'mon the initial half of the season they will get good crowds its a perth team, they will also get good support to away games in sydney with ex bears fans
I love the idea of a north v south island team, could be a trans tasman origin in the future.I reckon the 20th team should be a second NZ team to round off expansion and eliminate the bye every week.
A Christchurch-based South Island team. I heard the Southern Orcas (black and white colour scheme?) have a lot of backing and a new stadium was just built (with a roof). Or call them the Kea or Bulls or Wolves or whatever. Allows for a NZ derby twice a year, grows the game in the country that has plenty of union talent, and hopefully weakens the All-Blacks! 😉
Hey Leck, as a Wellington based person after Auckland the home of RL in NZ is Christchurch.I love the idea of a north v south island team, could be a trans tasman origin in the future.
However I feel that wellington, their capital city deserves a team first.
Fair call. I've experienced some awesome occasions in Wellington watching the Hurricanes.Hey Leck, as a Wellington based person after Auckland the home of RL in NZ is Christchurch.
With that new stadium I would be all over that. Wellington can sell out a few games but not sure we can support a team better than Christchurch
We are polar opposites on this one. I think the Bears are going to flop and flop hard.perth will be a success, locals will go and watch plus they get some of the old bears supporters back.
they will become people's second team
plus it gives a good tv time slot for eastern states
