- Terrible bench use nearly cost us. We played with 15 players (excluding Twal), which makes sense why Roosters were just steaming home over us.

Same as last week. Except this time the use of the bench cost us as we lost our energy in the Townsville heat. Regardless of whether we got bad calls or not, they were steamrolling us for 20 mins in that 2nd half period and we were just hanging on. Poor coaching.

shit referee performance allowed the Cowgirls to ensure they won. Thatcher needs to be shown the door.

I’d be pretty certain that he didn’t apply for the position thinking that he would automatically get the attack clipboard.
Has anyone actually read his cv to know he is a specialist attack coach
 
I actually don’t mind Carr as a coach but his specialty is attack and we’re still carrying Hodgo and Heingno who are useless.

Crawley is an experienced appointment so I’m hoping he’s able to put some helpful structures in place but he’s got his work cut out for him considering we only had a part time NSW Cup coach in 2026.

It’s pretty lazy for the club to announce coaching appointments after pre-season has started. Details leaked to the media weeks ago but the club couldn’t be arsed making an official announcement till today.

When hodge was at the wallabies was he part of the defence coaching positions, I swear I remember hearing that. But even then he should be defence and Carr attack. Legit crazy we have no defence coach and 2 attack coaches, plus heighno doing the effort areas or something (even though they look shit every year)

Look I don’t mind Crawley being appointed, he’s been around the game for a long time and worked under some great coaches.

But the club cannot make decisions based on what will run well with the media. That’s what got us into the Benji/Sheens mess we’re in.
