Re: Where Do You See the Tigers Placing in 2019?

Tbh I reckon we have a good balanced team given luck with injuries. We should have been in 8 last year and ironically benji been injured crueled as as Reynolds wasn't fit or a good partner for Brooks. But if Farah and Mbye was as available all year no doubt. L erts face it Cleary done some good thin...

Re: NRL Announcement

It’s called an opinion. Here’s another example of an opinion: I think your constant ridiculing of other forum members posts is pathetic. Outlandish opinions usually get more traction when backed with evidence. Claiming that Greenburg and the NRL don't want our club to be successful is a ridiculous ...

Re: Wests Tigers announce Michael Maguire as Head Coach

Our club handled this super.
And stoked that Michael chose to come here and like the idea he will still coach NZ.
We need loyal guys.

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Good result for us Potentially good result for Brisbane Poor result for Souths Last time we signed a premiership winning coach it worked out. Bennett has had his day. Seibold has had a great start to his career but it's a risk still. I prefer McGuire for a host of reasons but your contention that B...

Re: Roy Masters

I feel this period etched the way I see things. That Manly game on the highlights reel was my first watching the Magpies as an 11 yo with mum. Sat behind the posts on the scoreboard end 11000 that day May school holidays. What an initiation. Was an idealist and one could sense RL was a bit of a club...

One thing for sure our opponents those semis did not put in a poor performance against us as Melbourne did yesterday. Never had the luxury of warriors or Saints making 15 errors against us. The warriors from memory were perfect in the SH.

Re: TEDDY NOT FITTING IN

Its pretty sad the way some of our fans support this guy in finding a good club and having success. Like do they even sport. . . . My post on here over the years show how big a fan I am of his special talents and was very sad when he left. Good luck to him for winning and he has continued the same ...

They bought two blokes in to win them a comp and they delivered. We'd all be estatic if we did the same.
They did.
Mind you any of the top 10 this year would've beaten Storm last night.
That was low.

Re: 2010 v 2011

2010. The tennis ball Payten stepped on Fiffita not quite ready Jeremy Smiths knees and 5 to 0 penalty count to them early. Feckon that side would've beaten Eadys ladt night easily. Certainly 2010 with us and Saints the toughest comp to win by standard of oposition up to and including now. But yes 2...

Re: Modern game is all about speed and power

You are right. We need a couple of these players but in the end we were 4 wins from 1st place and if Robbie was available all year couls see us with at leadt another 2 meaning top 4. Tonight wasn't a good guide with nothing to play for we were in it for 38 minutes and then had a run of possessions ...

65 tackles tonight. What a legend. Team had little to play for but can't remember more tackles made.
Gee we didn't deserve that. Played ok 1st half and on ly 6 errors and 7 penalties conceded for game and they had 15 more sets.

Re: Ivan Cleary - THREAD..

The longer we stick to our guns, the worse it’s going to look for Penrith. Stay ruthless. Agree 100%. Our season is gone Surely Nathan will struggle this weekend. They tried to humiliate us by thinking they couuld take from us and we’d give Ivan a hearty handshake on the way out the door. That was ...

Re: Ivan Cleary addresses players as Wests Tigers discuss compensation option

Well the other alternative is that we don't budge and Nathan comes to play with his father at the WT on an extended deal.
Don't really hear Nathan very committed at Penrith either past this year.

Gus may looses big time and the big winners will be the Cleary family budget.
