Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

I don’t think it’s utterly ridiculous at all. Doesn’t make what he did do any better even if it wasn’t classified as match fixing. I find it bemusing why someone who did the things he did is being defended so staunchly. The original argument was highlighting how Greg Inglis was treated differently ...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Is sabotage a legal term? It’s like conservatives arguing collusion isn’t a crime. It isn’t, because in legal terms, collusion isn’t a thing. Is sabotage? Well good at least you realise now your orignal claim that Simona was a match fixer was utterly ridiculous...as many others have pointed out... ...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

I don’t think it’s utterly ridiculous at all. Doesn’t make what he did do any better even if it wasn’t classified as match fixing. You are defending him as hard as you defend Brooks when someone bags him for not closing out games. No idea why, given some of the things he has admitted to doing. I th...

Re: New Wests Tigers Podcast - (Helmsey and I) -UPDATED - EPISODE 6 POSTED - Simona/Marshall to centre?/Plus more

I’m glad you guys addressed the home ground issue, and in particular Ctown. It’s the fastest growing area in Sydney. Every time you drive out along Camden Valley Way, there’s a new estate popping up. And over the next 20 years, it’s going to keep growing, all the way out to the Razorback. It’s big e...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

You must have missed my reply to Steve. I conceded if you don’t want to classify it as match fixing, fine. The crux is he was still attempting to sabotage games, while wearing our jersey. Was Simona charged with attempting to sabotage games...? Is sabotage a legal term? It’s like conservatives argu...

Re: NRL Announcement

I think it's a clear breach and deserves some form of punishment. I just want to see other clubs cop this as well. Inglis staying at Souths and Thurston at the Cowboys are examples of the same thing happening as what we did with Robbie. I don't know how the NRL are going to start policing this rule...

Re: Player you're most looking forward to seeing in 2019?

I’m interested in Aloiai. He’s really flown under the radar. Early last year looked like he was going to another level, but then tapered off. Have a feeling he might linger in ISP.

Re: NRL Announcement

I'll make this my last post on the subject, as I don't want to keep arguing with fellow Tigers fans, especially ones whose opinions I value. I sincerely hope that this is an honest mistake and we get cleared of any wrongdoing, I'm just extremely skeptical of that as the way this has played out look...

You must have missed my reply to Steve. I conceded if you don’t want to classify it as match fixing, fine. The crux is he was still attempting to sabotage games, while wearing our jersey. Who cares if people on a forum classify it as match-fixing? The NRL DIDN'T classify it as match-fixing. End of ...

Re: NRL Announcement

I have no idea how people can say we've been treated fairly. The club has been categorised, sanctioned and are probably being investigated similarly to the clubs that paid multiple players under the table. This totally negates any claim the NRL are acting impartially, IMO. They have not been sancti...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Who cares? Players are not supposed to bet on games they are playing in. Second point - much more serious (not really related to football, just on this occasion) he ripped off charities - should be banned for life just for that. Yes! - back room boys rip off charities (even places like Oxfam take 1...
