Re: 60's and 70 Rock

Here’s a bit of background to the performance: “When Elvis Presley hit the road in June 1977, he was an absolute mess. He was only 42, but years of prescription drug abuse and horrifying dietary habits had left him bloated, depressed and near death. He had an enlarged heart, an enlarged intestine, h...

Did someone mention Elvis. I dont listen to Elvis or own any of his music but he was the original COOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WiVzo2iJ8M Thanks for posting this one , I've never heard Elvis like that. Fresh discovery for me. Here’s my favourite Elvis performance, delivered just 2 months ...

I regularly encourage my mrs to awaken the sleeping giant. Not so common with two young kids these days.

- Mind hunter - Ozark - if you’re not sick of narcotics themed shows already. Too many at the moment. - Rick and Morty - The Haunting of Hill House (I don’t get into it but the Mrs loves it). - Dave Chappells Netflix specials - getting back to his form of old. An improved body of work. - Steak Revol...

Re: "Social credit" scary stuff

Anyone watch the show Black Mirror on Netflix by chance?

There’s one episode on this topic exactly.

The episode features Alice Eve and BD Howard so it’s an easy watch.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Jack’s as dumb as a post and he’s the kind of guy that can have 7 handling errors on an off day...but he’s also tall, strong, fast, aggressive and hits hard. I’d take him over Hayne or Jed Bogan.

Several clubs don’t start their pre-season training until the last week of Nov. A few others start around mid-Nov like us. Warriors have started but they have a stack of players in the UK. I’d much rather start a week later than some clubs with Maguire than on 1 Nov with Barret or JT begind the clip...

Re: Travel Tips

I’ve been to over 100 countries and one of my most memorable experiences was watching sumo live in Japan. Surreal atmosphere. It’s bloody hard to get tickets though (if you’re lucky enough to be there when it’s on). Try to find a place that serves bluefin tuna cheek. Tokyo is an amazing, unique and ...

For those of you that remember the Solo commercials from back in the day - I recently found out that the original solo man is bunged-up in a Thai prison for trafficking ice.

Maybe it’s common knowledge but I haven’t lived in a Australia for over 10 years so it was news to me. I loved those Solo ads.

Assuming you are talking about Paul Crawley, the journo?

He's a massive drip. Every time I see him on NRL360 I think of Gil from the SImpsons.

I'm not sure if its been mentioned already, but apparently Christopher McQueen wants to head to the Cowboys. Sticking point is how much WT will subsidise.

Re: PHIL GOULD

I hope someone goes to the effort of constructing a timeline of all the blatant lies he has told all year. It’s just one after the other with this guy. No sane person should ever believe a thing he says. His credibility is gone but with his arrogance he probably believes what he’s saying.

Re: New coach.. Who should we target?

Can someone please explain this to me: If it’s good enough for Penrith to approach Ivan to leave in the middle of his contract term, then why didn’t we do the exact same thing to Nathan? If we had thrown the kitchen sink at him then maybe we would be the one’s laughing rather than being laughed at....

Hope there is a big law firm helping the Tigers get maximum Panthers pokies dollars compensation for Ican Nearly's early release.
