Re: That last try was not a try

Just cause i was at the game and its hard to tell , what calls went against us? Was it the moltzen held back call? and im guessing the locke dangerous tackle call? I actually dont like people shooting in like that, and even if it was around hte legs im not a fan of it. Either way I think the last tr...

Re: Well....that was sure disappointing

Seriously from the first minute of the second half they were running over the top of us. In fact any time they had the ball in our half I think it was trouble. They were a far better side on the night. There little men were more elusive, there kicking game was better and there forwards were more dan...

Running it on the last.

I knwo the seasons over and theres alot of what ifs, but just a general statement on the play which probably lost us the game. How many times does this seriously work for us? We do this minimum 4 times a game minimum and wouldnt of scored more than 3 times off it this year I dont think? (could be wr...

Re: The Bryce Gibbs Appreciation Thread

I admit I wasnt a huge fan to mid season, but hes always been a great defensive prop, and now hes developed a great running game too.

The other props in the side really struggle to control the ruck like Gibbs and Payten have for us. Its going to be tough without him.

his best game for the club imo, including his games vs canberra and nq a few years ago.

his kick returns were unreal. Makes a huge difference.

Re: Tuqiri

Tuquiris problem is he has developed "wests tigers back 3 syndrome". Everytime he gets the ball he has to run across field ten metres and show it inside two times before straightening (while someone his size should just run straight aka utai). Unfortunately at the moment hes too unmobile and teams a...

Re: Your top 3 & Missing in action?

Top 3

3) Fulton
2) Farah
1) Heighno
Honourable Mentions: Moltzen , Lui, Ellis and Gibbs.

MIA:
Ayhford- not that i didnt see him, but was just slow and again caught out with poor defensive reads.

Re: Lui injured?

I think Sheens just wanted to get mckinnon off and Lui could use a break.

On Lui i thought it was his best game this year almost. Nothing special but just did what he had to and he is developing a very good combination with Farah.

Re: Heighington's try

I cant believe anyone talking about how the tigers made the decision or that they bullied the ref. It was a clear try. What do you want them to do get up and go oh well. had the ref gone to the video for the utai knock on early we may have picked up some points there as well (there was fingers on it...

Re: Lawrence's injury??

Left edge of Ellis-Lawrence-Lote = we are premiership contenders. Left edge missing Lawrence and Lote for the next few weeks = we could lose even the 'easy games'. Class is irreplaceable. Massive loss if he's out again. Thats it really. I think we could possibly push the premiership with Lawrence. ...

Re: Lawrence out for 4-5 weeks

Not good.

Even if he is out for 4 weeks and just comes back in the first week of the finals its not good as it will take him a few more weeks to find his feet.

Personally I dont feel we are any better than an 8th placed side without Lawrence

Re: Lawrence's injury??

I believe the 2nd most important player in the team other than Benji. We are an 8th placed side really at best without him. On both those tries he had a hand in tonight if it had happened on the opposite side of the field I am of a strong belief we dont score. I dont mind if he misses next week or t...

Re: Lui

great game from lui but 1 out of his last whatever isnt good enough and he still had a major role to play in the dragons last try. hes giving away a try a game at the moment and we cant afford that in crunch games at the business end.

Re: Article Telegraph - Benji - the best player Ive Seen

Good read.

Definetly not the best player ive seen , IMO.

Johns is lightyears the best player ive seen. Johns didnt need a big step and to throw flick passes...he just dominated games through vision and controlled the game better than anyone ive seen, alot better than benji.

Re: What do you see as our problem positions for 2012

1 and 7 really. Its not that we have we need superstars but personally IMO i believe we are the weakest in the NRL in these positions. Reddy and Brown will be decent fullbacks and I believe do the job but I dont see them being the class players that i believe you need at fullback. Your fullback need...

How many back rowers do we have for next year?

Heighno
Ellis
Fulton
Blair

Moors i doubt will be here, and the Schirnacks are nothing more than a stop gap I dont think. Anyone else? Im sure theres plenty of u20 players who will be thrown up but it takes a lot for sheens to bring these guys in

Re: Steve Georgallis joins the Wests Tigers

Happy to have him here but personally wouldnt want him as the next Tigers coach.

He does seem to really have the respect of the Penrith team, so hopefully if any of them are off contract we may be a good chance.
