Re: NRL Announcement

Lol.. good point . Id rather not say to much at this stage , not a fan of leaking things as that is usually what created the issue in the 1st place. Lets just say.. Star player , videos, and white powder = big issues for us. Its interesting that Greenturd made particular reference to punishing play...

Stay tuned... the next stage of the NRL's new line in the sand heavy penalties are about to hit us AGAIN! " player miss behavior " and its not about Che kam and Musgrove.
Well if its going to be common knowledge shortly you may as well tell us now.

Re: NRL Announcement

Well after that rant i would think Musgrove and CheeKam won't be with us this year. I really hope a big name player does something wrong and watch Toddy squirm - oh wait i forgot about Inglis.

Who was our captain?
Yea i was wondering that - we probably had the hook up with 5 captains and no CEO.

Probably more brown stuff to hit the fan with this club so best they part ways before it happens.

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Well good at least you realise now your orignal claim that Simona was a match fixer was utterly ridiculous...as many others have pointed out... I don’t think it’s utterly ridiculous at all. Doesn’t make what he did do any better even if it wasn’t classified as match fixing. You are defending him as...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Was Simona charged with attempting to sabotage games...? Is sabotage a legal term? It’s like conservatives arguing collusion isn’t a crime. It isn’t, because in legal terms, collusion isn’t a thing. Is sabotage? Well good at least you realise now your orignal claim that Simona was a match fixer was...

Re: NRL Announcement

I think it's a clear breach and deserves some form of punishment. I just want to see other clubs cop this as well. Inglis staying at Souths and Thurston at the Cowboys are examples of the same thing happening as what we did with Robbie. I don't know how the NRL are going to start policing this rule...

Re: NRL Announcement

The salary cap reduction comes out of our grant from the NRL so it is not saving us anything it is saving the NRL from having to give it to us. Is that written anywhere? I dont know if it is written down anywhere but it is the way penalties have been handled in the past by the NRL The fines do, I t...

Re: NRL Announcement

As ive said before some of us are just happy to finish 9th. Its a mentality that goes right through to some taking the NRL's side for the ridiculous, unjust and over the top reaction to a minor salary cap indiscretion. Each to their own and all opinions are valid but im glad im in the group that ca...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Who cares? Players are not supposed to bet on games they are playing in. Second point - much more serious (not really related to football, just on this occasion) he ripped off charities - should be banned for life just for that. Yes! - back room boys rip off charities (even places like Oxfam take 1...

Re: NRL Announcement

Greg Inglis has announced he will retire at the end of 2020. He stated he will take up a position with the club at the end of 2020. How does Greg know there will be a position for him at that time? Sounds a bit fishy to me. Has his job been included in the salary cap? Has clearance been granted by ...

But then its an advantage to the side who is lucky enough to get away without a HIA - its a real problem and unfortunately i believe the NRL is too inept to come up with any solution.

Yea they are comparing his signing as almost as good as when they signed Tommy in the 80s - they have got to be kidding.

Re: NRL Confirms 'Brain Bunker' for 2019

True - but will be interesting when teams are reduced to 12 players because of over cautiousness. concussion is something i'd say it's ok to be overcautious about. i'd be happy if a physio made a mistake and a player was playing with an acl injury, hell cooper cronk played with a broken bone- as lo...
