Re: Player you're most looking forward to seeing in 2019?

Garner for me. This guy reminds me so much of Beaver Menzies. Tackles hard, runs great lines and good speed for an edge backrower. He could be anything. He’ll be hated and labaled a plodder 6 rounds in. It will happen, gaurenteed. Eisenhuth was pretty popular when he debuted if you can believ...

Dennis Bendall - best 'boot high' tackler I have seen.

Re: How I fell in love with Leichhardt Oval

Wow! Awesome piece Masterton! Warning: For those of you who can't stand to read about the 'old days' - don't read any further..... I also have memories of Leichhardt that will remain with me forever. One Sunday arvo watching bottom of the table Balmain and Parramatta fighting it out for a 28 all dra...

If Momirovski is not better than Fonua then we are in big trouble.
And if Reynolds isn't better than Marshall, we are in even bigger trouble.

Re: Annalise Braakensiek

Great posts by all. I work in the Health Industry and deal with people with mental health issues from a security perspective. It's not easy to see people who are tormented and suffering, but there is so much of it out there. And it must be said, even in emergency departments, patients with mental il...

Re: NRL Announcement

Farah was owed money before he went to Souths. Not necessarily just from his contract. Part of his agreement to go to Souths was that he would get the more money owed and the ambassador agreement was a mechanism to achieve this. At the same time WT are getting exemptions because Farah is “bad for t...

Sounds like a very smart move by Pascoe. Why make an enemy when you might make an ally? Can only be winners here with this idea.

Re: NRL Announcement

I, like most on this forum, shake my head at the hypocrisy of the NRL. What's worse is that no one is surprised.
No wonder the NRL is losing fans faster than it's gaining them.

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

Absolutely, these low lifes are everywhere. It's a shame the game cops it, but unless severe punishments are handed down, nothing will change. Here's a thought, bugger the second chance. You get found out for beating, biting, glassing, harassing or in any way, shape or form abusing man woman or chi...

Paul Sherwen RIP

For those like me who love cycling, and who may have come in to the sport watching the Tour de France on TV, it will come as sad news that one half of the 'voices of cycling' - Paul Sherwen has died overnight at the age of 62. Paul and his co-commentator, Phil Ligget, brought the world of profession...

Look at it another way, if we had kept Jason and Jacob breaks down what would have Jason done? Was Matt B still in the recovery room?
What are you talking about?

Re: Wests Tigers in SOO 2019

Pearce is a very good NRL player but has failed to 'make it' in the SOO arena. Terry Lamb was another who was an outstanding first grader (albeit one I hated), but couldn't step up to the next level.
Pearce has had enough chances already.

I like Jennings. Would go well.
However, I still think we need another centre in preference to a winger.

Amazing job done by our current management
I agree and I hope those that were death riding the Chair when she was first appointed give themselves an uppercut.
