Re: NRL Announcement

This hit the nail on the head. People aren't suggesting WT did no wrong. They are questioning the operating procedure's of the NRL and rightly so....the disparity in their continued actions are there for all to see. You could write a list of examples as long as your arm. I have been very critical o...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I feel for the bloke. Quite clear someone is out to really embarrass him and destroy his reputation. Not sure about the validity of the rumour, but it is alleged a former Easts player was attempting to extort him. Repeat offender. Wish he would dish the dirt on the roosrers club, and how they manag...

Re: NRL Announcement

I definately don't think that, but I'm not going around thinking the Tigers did no wrong just because I support the club. The Tigers offered Farah a very very lucrative role after football, for some reason they did not disclose that information to the NRL, which was all they needed to do and infact...

The NRL under Greenburg is a farce like the Labor party. Self absorbed and panders to minorities
Agree with the first part - absolutely not on your second part.

However you are entitled to your opinion, but why bring politics into it.

Re: More bad behaviour

How many times must players and teams transgress before suffering consequences fitting the crimes. Ingles - cap rorting, hitting women, high range drink driving (probably over 1.0 in Dubbo). Sharks - Peptides, cap rorting, breaking NRL instructions, team drinking indiscretions. Just a joke NRL mana...

Re: How I fell in love with Leichhardt Oval

Long may it hold footy games for the converted, and for others who appreciate and can see value in preserving some of the traditions and simplicity of the past. Beaut post. Two things that are near extinction in the world at large let alone RL: tradition and simplicity. Long live LO: we may not be ...

Re: New Wests Tigers Podcast - (Helmsey and I) -UPDATED - EPISODE 5 POSTED - Salary Cap/Pascoe Episode.

Obviously go to the NRL Tribunal first - if we don't get anywhere or don't get a fair go....

Why not go to court - don't think the NRL would want a lot of their secrets getting out.

Nothing to lose if we are forced into it.

Think Pascoe is worth it myself.

Thanks for the post. Could I once again ask for the source each time as well - not that difficult.

For those interested, this one was:

Re: How I fell in love with Leichhardt Oval

I first went to Leichhardt Oval in 1950 - I had to wait until I was five years old before my Uncle Vic and his mate down the road, Laurie, would take me. The ground ran east-west in those days and my uncle always had to sit near the southern corner post (TV corner these days) - unfortunately we had ...

Re: Tim Simona

He was definitely one of my favourites, but his day is done. If he has paid his penalty, that's good for him moving forward. But I don't get the mentality in sport where we have to give these guys another go, just because. For every Simona, or any other player threatening going to rugby, or retirin...

I will be quite upset if the NRL don't take a hard stance.

They did with Pascoe.

Some of the posters on here are so righteous they would put Mother Superior to shame.
Should those people (include myself) lower our standards to the level of criminals?

Re: Tim Simona

Stomping on heads OK.. Yes indeed! Stomping on heads, beating your wife, glassing your girlfriend then blaming your mate for it, punching taxi drivers, rampaging through the streets, harassing women, telling them they are going to die tonight then bashing the crap out of a guy in front of his wife ...
