Re: Ennis set to reject Raiders

I understand veteran players giving up a bit of money to sign elsewhere and chase a grand final.....clearly that is not what influenced Ennis to snub the Raiders for the Sharks.

Re: Taupau Signed

Dogs are a lot better at these fire sales than us... When we need to create some cap space we volunteer to keep paying some of the players contract that is leaving (or throw a young stud into the deal to sweeten it) Dogs need to create space (Folou signing etc) and we offer to take a contracted play...

Re: Blair Being Shopped Around

We did him a favour and allowed him to return to England a year early....I don't see how we should be paying a cent.

Problem is that noone would bail us out of the Blair contract without the Tigers wearing the majority of the cost.

Can picture the article on nrl.com tomorrow already of Harrigan saying that the refs got all the calls right....which will only get me more angry.

Word is that Houston and Wes Naiqama are both headed to Penrith next season.

I think Lewis ends up in Newcastle (unless the Parra money is just to good to turn down)

Yer, 5pm deadline. I find it frustrating, but if i do, maybe opposition coaches do too?

Re: That last try was not a try

I can understand your frustration Mac. I haven't been able to go back and watch it again but yes, if the ref blew the whiste before Inu made his second attempt then that effectively is the end of the play. You can't score a try after the ref has already acknowledged a deadball situation and called t...

Re: Wrong call to play Lawrence

Lawrence wasn't the problem at all, i couldn't blame any of that 2nd half capitulation on Lawrence. And if we win, which was only 2 mins away, i would have said great decision to play Lawrence because he got a game under his belt before the Melbourne prelim game.

Re: LIVE GAME + changes

I'm so frustrated right now...i could kick a chair! It's times like this that i wonder why i follow this game (Yes, i'll get over it by march) There's always next year? NO, i'm sick of the "maybe next year" line. You don't get many chances in this league (remember the 4 years after the last grand fi...

Re: LIVE GAME + changes

Didn't deserve to win it.

2 points in the second half.

Won the penalty count and the possession. Can't do much about the last try but the others were soft.

Re: Can someone confirm please ??

Daylight Saving does start on Sunday the 2nd of October, which happens to be Grand Final day.

So if the game is on at 5pm NSW time, it will only be 4pm QLD time.

Gee, that's bad timing, wonder how many people will get screwed up because of that.

Re: are we really that hated?

I've done a few poles on various websites and forums over the years asking the hate question....and the Tigers are never even in the top half. Manly usually wins, followed by daylight.

Re: International Rugby League Future

Target all the countries that are improving so well in Rugby Union. The transition from Union to League isn't a massive one so if these up and coming countries in the sport are making so many leaps and bounds, take advantage of Unions good work.

Re: KiwiLocals plan for 10000 supporters at SFS

Obviously the ticket sales are so slow that the NRL has felt this offer was necessary. If the stadium was selling out fast this offer wouldn't exist. After seeing the semi final crowd of 14,000 in Melbourne last week i'm guessing there will be a similar offer for the prelim final in Melbourne. In fa...

Re: Pre-match restlessness - help!

i wouldn't think there are too many people on here with nerves considering how many threads that have been dedicated to when we play Melbourne I can see why people are doing that. When i think of the Warriors now it's hard not to think about that very poor performance against the Broncos last week....
