Re: More bad behaviour

I think Momirovski is THE centre - never mind back row. Chee Kam needs to go - do not need idiots, Sponsors and idiots do not mix well. If Momiroveki reolaced Masters, Masters would go well in Chee Kam's position, because he can play backs or forwards, and is legitimately hard to tackle. Does leave...

Re: More bad behaviour

Gotta love the versatile back rower description... more like a good bench warmer. Plodder of the highest order. Chee Kam plays a number of positions well enough that the defensive line doesn't fall apart if you have to make an unscheduled substitution. Every team needs a back rower who can defend i...

Re: Who needs to stay/come or leave Wests

Ivan needs to leave and take Packerlino, ET and McQueen with him. Benji and Farah need to retire. Fonua needs to go somewhere/anywhere else. Reynolds needs a full body replacement and about a years soak in some new age gurus miracle healing hot spring. Eiso needs serious anti plodding training. Gar...

Over rated veterans getting in the way and failing to control a game
Neither Farah nor Marshall were our first choice in their positions. They've both exceeded expectations as backups.

Assuming you are talking about Paul Crawley, the journo?

He's a massive drip. Every time I see him on NRL360 I think of Gil from the SImpsons.
Oh wow, you're absolutely right and I can't unsee it now. He is Gil.

Re: Ivan to speak Saturday

According to Benji http://bit.ly/W18Rd22BM It'll be a standard presser, which every club's obliged to do before a game. I thought Benji handled that well. The three questions they kept trying to slide in were: are you retiring?; is Ivan leaving? And are the Tigers signing Nathan Cleary? Benji kept ...

Re: Team v Ricky's 47 Texas

The thing about the Tigers defence is it's not particularly good, the boys just work harder than anyone else so that missed tackles are well covered. They scramble well for each other. What Canberra do isn't specially clever, but they have big units in the backrow and centres who hit the line hard a...

Re: Reynolds at Lock

We've seen no evidence that Reynolds can make even 20 tackles a game without getting hurt. Why does everyone want him in a middle forward role? The number 9 and number 13 take the most punishment in the ruck, no place for a fragile ageong half.

Re: Give Cleary Our Support.

Liddle will be our 9. Reynolds will play 14 if Cleary and Brooks play together. I think Liddle is a future rep hooker. Ivan will manage him and this situation. I think you'll find Brooks will get moved on if Cleary arrives. It will be Reynolds 6 and Cleary 7. Brooks is the cheapest out. Brooks is a...

New Zealand may get us over the line yet. The Tigers won't win 5 in a row but the Warriors sure could lose them.

Serious question.
Has Luke Brooks surpassed Robert Lui (in comparative career stages) When he played for the tigers?
We don't mention that name and yes.

Re: Unsolved mysteries: Wests Tigers own the top four, reside in ninth

“Luke Brooks has finally emerged from Gary Freeman’s shadow” Probably the most random thing I have ever read on this forum. Have never even heard those two names spoken in the same sentence. It's implying that Freeman was the Tigers last quality number 7. May have a point. Then he'd be wrong as we ...

I flashed on Simon Dwyer as well. Reynolds said he was losing strength and sensation, but no one could pinpoint it.

Re: Marsters goal kicking

Im Happy with this element of Esans Game. The difficulty of the kicks pays tribute to the team scoring on a higher grade of position on the field. I would like to see better offloads and for him to run more . I would like to see him in a Fonua / Hurrell like style that can terrorise the opposition....

Re: Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

We need guys that run hard. The only 2 that do that are Lawrence and Aloiai!!!! We need enforcers - go after Matagi, Tapau. We have no one that the opposition fears or would hate to tackle. Should have gone hard for Junior Paulo. Man we suck! Junior Paulo's not a bloke you want at your club, the me...

Re: Slow Moving Turtles in 2019-2020?

Yet we still rank about 7th for meters gained. Something screams gameplay about Packer and Matulino’s meters. Like I’ve said before, opposition score the majority of points or the rot sets in when these guys are off the field. It’s like clockwork. In saying that I would like a lot more meters from ...
