I don't think the other Clubs went cap in hand to the NRL asking for Cap relief for their players claiming they were destabilising figures...only to promise them jobs after footy..
Bingo
Maybe not but these other clubs have done much which went unpunished by the NRL. Where is the level field?

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

That is not evidence of bias. Sorry, didn’t read the by-laws, posting rules, nor did I realise every opinion must be submitted via the ‘proof fairy.’ My mistake. Disclaimer: Every post I post, is my opinion. Thought I should spell that out. Sigh, okay, thought it was pretty clear. All the stories a...

Re: NRL Announcement

Greg Inglis has announced he will retire at the end of 2020. He stated he will take up a position with the club at the end of 2020. How does Greg know there will be a position for him at that time? Sounds a bit fishy to me. Has his job been included in the salary cap? Has clearance been granted by ...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

"I'll be giving away the game but staying around this club hopefully for a long time after I retire," Sound very much like Souths have offered him an Ambassador role. Which they are allowed to do. At least Greenburg and Co should investigate and determine whether or not Souths are not cheating the ...

why the hell would we sign either of these two losers, also they are not what we need. we need forwards, just like the past, sign has beans and no - hoppers, the cost of these two, we could up grade to 1 decent forward i guess.
Do you think that Musgrove is that forward you have been looking for?

Greg Eastwood has signed with Newtown jets apparently
Who are they the feeder team for these days? Roosters isn't it? (Used to be Souths) Or am I thinking of Norths?
Newtown are the feeder for Cronulla.

Re: More bad behaviour

How many times must players and teams transgress before suffering consequences fitting the crimes. Ingles - cap rorting, hitting women, high range drink driving (probably over 1.0 in Dubbo). Sharks - Peptides, cap rorting, breaking NRL instructions, team drinking indiscretions. Just a joke NRL mana...

Wow, drama!
Where is Greenburg? Still on holidays? Every day Pascoe is looking more and more a saint while the many bludging, indecent NRL footballers continue to earn a motza living off the NRL.

Re: Tim Simona

Probably not the best time for Tim to be asking for a second chance. Still remember the four week suspension he was given for what looked like a nothing tackle when the NRL decided that they were going to get tough on crusher tackles..toughest penalty Id seen on a player for a tackle like that. Re: Tim Simona

There seems to be a double standard in Australian sports. Simona has now been out of rugby league for many years for what has be called "cheating". Some on this forum think that he should never return to NRL. On the other hand Australian Cricket's former " hero" Dave Warner was clearly found to have...

Re: Tim Simona

If others got a second chance he deserves his. I agree. Behaving bad has become par for a NRL player. There are NRL players who have performed just as bad and on their second and even third chance (i.e. Pierce etc) without suspension and are still allowed to play NRL for $thousands if not a million...
