Re: Ivan Cleary opens up on Penrith return and controversial Tigers exit

Amazing How Ivan can sit down and give a long interview and give his spin on Clearygate, yet he could only give us a 30 second prepared statement. The guy is a total low life, but time to look forward and fingers crossed karma will strike And he also "didn't have time" to front the players in perso...

Re: Ivan Cleary opens up on Penrith return and controversial Tigers exit

i feel like im sticking up for cleary too much but i honestly feel that he did what he thought was best. he had a contract here for 2 years he wanted to honour but an extra 3 years we couldn't offer but someone else could so he took that. right now, his son and himself have got a massive 5 year con...

Re: Singing and Chanting in the NRL

People sing and chant at the soccer because there's nothing else to do.
In Rugby League there's a game to watch.

Re: Wests Tigers Jersey's 2019..

Can someone good at photoshop edit our home jersey so that the Bryden's logo doesn't have the white outlining and the V continues to meet in the middle, rather than being cut off?
I'm curious what that would look like.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I remember Luke on the news 3 months ago saying he wanted to extend his contract with us. Ivan said he explained to Luke why he could not sign him yet, (So he could pump up Nathan's & his own contract) Now Luke is worth a lot more. Nice one Ivan he still screw's us even after he is gone. Feel the s...

Re: New Jerseys 2019

They look great. But as others, I would have liked an orange jersey. We should be taking advantage of something that separates us from other teams and can make us instantly recognisable.

I like the 20th anniversary logo.

Re: NRL unveil new competition branding

Looks like something a 7 year old made in Microsoft Paint. The lack of Rugby League relations in the logo also make it look like it's just an alternate Telstra logo.

Re: Alcohol thread

Young Henrys has to be the most overrated, overpriced drink available. Nothing special about it whatsoever. When I saw this was a recommendation thread my first thought was Balter XPA. Fantastic drink. But looks like you've discovered that already. I don't mind Kosciusko. That goes down well. Stone ...

Re: First look at Concord Oval revamp

Cheers Sabre, you gotta tip your hat to a club that can fund a COE of that size by itself. Less than 12 months construction aswell. Pokies money. It's the Leagues Club that's funding all the football club's facilities. I don't think anyone thought otherwise. Ok let me rephrase - I won't tip my hat ...

Re: First look at Concord Oval revamp

Is 30 million the total cost of the project or just the councils contribution towards the project? You don’t get a lot for 30 million when doing a redevelopment of this scale. Anyway, about time and it’s a win win for our club and Canada Bay Penriths COE cost $30 mill by itself. Penrith's was $22m ...

Re: First look at Concord Oval revamp

So is it a community center, a high performance unit or a center of excellence? I think in the end it may all be a bit diluted to what some of us were expecting, but hey new facilities are new, as long as OUR equipment is modern, up to date and allowing us to compete with the rest of the NRL. Did I...

First look at Concord Oval revamp

DEMAND for new inner west sporting facilities, driven by the region’s rapidly growing population, is set to see Concord Oval undergo a $30 million transformation. The Courier can today share a first look at the proposed Parramatta Rd oval redevelopment under plans by Canada Bay Council to bring the ...
