Re: NRL Announcement

The club has mounted what they believe is an unbeatable defence & have complete confidence we will get our CEO back ! But if the result don't work in our favour then legal action will follow. Really appreciate your posts Pom. Your posts carry weight in my eyes because you post infrequently and only...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

If Inglis is ever made an immortal that will do me. Not an immortals bootlace. I guess people could play the "odd one out" with a pack of Immortal cards. If it ever does happen the other immortals should all hand their titles back. The guy doesn't deserve to be still playing the game - let alone an...

Re: NRL Announcement

My latest complaint to the NRL: “Could someone please contact me, preferably Todd Greenberg, and explain how he can rant and rave about players bringing the game into disrepute only days after he provided a reference for a player who was drunk driving. This same player has previously been in court f...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Oh and don’t stop at Greenberg. Don’t forget the other bloke whose only apparent agenda is to expand the game to new cities, states and countries with absolute disregard to the rich history of the clubs that built the league and the thicker than blood tribalism that fuels the game.

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

Is sabotage a legal term? It’s like conservatives arguing collusion isn’t a crime. It isn’t, because in legal terms, collusion isn’t a thing. Is sabotage? Well good at least you realise now your orignal claim that Simona was a match fixer was utterly ridiculous...as many others have pointed out... ...

Re: NRL Announcement

If, in my hypothetical, in order to move him on, the post career deal to SKD was to compensate for lost TPAs, then I still wouldn't care. Why wouldn't I care - because they were not under-paying players in order to supplement their roster. I agree that if the WT knowingly broke the rules, then some...

Re: NRL Announcement

If Easts offered, say, SKD, a post career role when he left for Newcastle (and didn't tell the NRL), then I wouldn't be up in arms - if fact, I couldn't care less. If, on the other hand, Easts offered one of their marquee players a post career role, and reduced his last contract payments with a pro...

Re: NRL Announcement

No I can look at this objectively and see what the Tigers did looks incredibly dodgy. You have been given information on which you have based your opinions. You have relayed that information, and others have made their opinions. Don't presume to think you are being objective where others are not. I...

Re: NRL Announcement

This argument keeps going round and round and round. As has been said before, those who believe the penalty is unfair (and I’m one of them) seem to be more annoyed with the inconsistency over many issues. In the scheme of things our penalty is excessive and tempering this line of thinking was not he...

Garner for me. This guy reminds me so much of Beaver Menzies. Tackles hard, runs great lines and good speed for an edge backrower. He could be anything. Yes! Great comparison. I really like this kid and your comparison between his style and Beaver’s style is spot on. Now, if only we had a Cliffy!!

I feel for McQueen. Coming back from a serious neck injury was always going to be difficult. I hope he does enough to earn a chance and if given, I hope he goes great guns.
For sure it was a great video.

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

lol Rubbish.. Assume you’re talking to me? Ryan Tandy was classified as a match fixer for betting on a penalty goal .How’s that different to Simona? Because he gave away the penalty and was directly involved in the betting sting of other people on that game and received cash to do,,..Simona was nev...

Re: Greg Inglis to retire in 2020

I'm so glad the NRL is not biased. I'm so glad the NRL doesn't try to manipulate their audience via media to push through an agenda. lol I checked out the NRL website a few moments ago, and 8/10 of their most recent stories are pro-Inglis. NRL investigation over. What proof do you have of NRL bias?...
