Re: Will we make the 8 in 2019?

If our next two signings are walk up start top 13 players we have a good chance, but if they are journeymen I think we will probably slip a peg or two. Hard to imagine a team with so many players close to the end of their careers doing to much damage. Once again 2020 could be very different Pretty ...

Re: Hayne plane

:| Meh Yep , as long as the price was right, I’d love to see him here, at least he knows where the tryline is , and geez we need someone like that he’s still fast we’ve only got one centre, and he’s likely to end up in theback row at some time. With Hayne here at least we might have a genuine chanc...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

I agreeish. I think Bennett probably was the best on the market, we just don't know if Newcastle Bennett or St George Bennett will turn up at Souths. McGuire seems to have a stack of grit, knows our players and gets us a pipeline to Souths. Can someone explain how McGuire is like Jason Taylor as a ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The dogs would probably know about Reynolds and his injuries and drop in form in the time that he was here. Plus, he’s not getting any younger. They might want him, but if they’ve got any sense, they’ probably won’t want to pay him what we’re paying him here. I don’t think they’d be that dopey Besid...

Re: Can Reynolds stay on the field

The problem is that Johnson doesn’t seem to be able to play for a full season. Injuries seem to follow him, and apart from that, he mentally goes on holidays for up to half a season. Dynamite when he wants to be, But absolutely useless when he,s not. We definetly need a five eight as Reynolds is pa...

We’ve got enough problems on our own plate to be worrying so much about other teams progress, we aren’t exactly high flyers

Don’t know how to post it but I just saw on Facebook a Paul Crawley tweet: “at what point does Ivan Cleary owe WestsTigers fans an explanation?”
This is not going away any time soon😉
When it doesn’t sell papers any more it will cool off

Re: A Question for the Queenslanders Among Us

I’ve lived in and visited a lot of nice Country towns in Qld and .NSW
And didn’t like Murgon much at all
It’s only a personal thing ,
I just feel that if I was buying an investment property, I’d be buying elsewhere .l haven’t spent enough time there , to go into detail, just giving an opinion

Re: 18 Spots to Fill - 2020

Trouble is that we still have Reynolds in the contracted list
They have to get rid of Mcqeen some way
And ET and Packer have played their best football, can’t see much improvement in them

Re: A Question for the Queenslanders Among Us

Anyone know much about the township of Murgon in south east Qld? I am thinking of buying an investment property up there and wondered if anyone on here would know anything about the place and its potential for growth and a good yield rent-wise. I have already researched a bit and spoken to some peo...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Now that it is official Ivan will leave us with his reputation completely destroyed and in tatters. It is highly unlikely any club in the NRL would seek his services again. Hopefully he has a terrible year with his mate Gould and they both get their fair share of karma. It will be interesting to see...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

For God's sake, let it go. Huh.? Where did I say in my post that we were linked to more than two Coaches ( notcounting the one that was here already) It wasn’t just us, that have turned themselves inside out to try and come out on top. You obviously haven’t read much of the forum, newspapers, or wa...

Nothing surprises in Rugby League anymore. At the end of the day it's all about money ..... contracts, loyalty, honesty are all things of the past. Sometimes I wonder why I bother to be passionate.
Probably the best and most accurate post from the last 155 pages

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

We were only ever linked to 2 coaches Bennett and Madge. What planet are you living on? What different theories are you talking about. It was one consistent story. Ivan meets with Penrith, asks for a release, Tigers say no, Cleary signs for 2021, tigers speak to Bennett/Madge, madge signs, Cleary r...

Re: Jonathon Thurston

Not a Qld fan at all , but in the last few years , he has cleaned his act up and seems to be really conscious of trying to help indigenous people and to be regarded as a pretty good person, I still think that he played for a year or two longer than he should’ve though. His mistakes are behind him an...
